Night time in the summer

We are going to DW in June and will be there the 7-21. My first summer ever there, we always go in the winter to get out of the cold!! My question is how are the crowds at night? We get up and enjoy the park In The morning, eat a quick lunch squeeze in one or two things and leave by 5 ish. Was thinking of maybe headed back as the park is open till 12 but not if it will not be worth the trouble! Hope my rambling makes sense! Thanks

We go to the parks in the morning and eat lunch and leave early afternoon for a break from the sun/heat. Go the resort and chill/swim and then head back to the parks at night because they are open late. The crowds are still pretty big at night, probably because it's much more tolerable when the sun goes down.

You'll need to make sure you keep hydrated all day and night and when needed go into a store or indoor attraction to cool off.
