Based on the pedigree of the producers and the cast, I had high hopes for Threshold, but gave up on it after three episodes. It devolved into cliche much too quickly, and there was never any feel for the characters despite the strength of the actors.
Invasion still holds a low spot on my TIVO season pass, but to be frank, the fault lies with the writing on that show. If invasion was a book instead of a program, I would have skipped to the last chapter by now to see what the twist is. The show, while conceived well, is not executed on a weekly basis with enough skill to draw viewers in. I still don't find any of the characters compelling (MHO), and I'm ready to knock it off my active list after next week if the plot doesn't pick up a little pace.
Now on the other hand, Lost..........wonderfully compelling and one of the rare shows on television that requires total concentration if not multiple viewings to fully comprehend everything going on.
Obi-Wan; Do yourself a huge favor, and get a TIVO....it's a viewers best defense against the network's habit of randomly switching shows or discovering that a new episode of a favorite show is instead a repeat. Mine is celebrating it's 4th birthday in our home next month, and I have never missed a show I've wanted to see in the last four years! (HINT!!!!!)
