Hi Miss Jasmine, mabye we will see you there! I do have a lime green t-shirt that I am going to wear one of the Night of Joy nights. On the t-shirt it says, Yes I am princess: and My Father is the King of Kings!

sounds good! Are you going to be wearing any lime green? I will keep my eyes open for lime green!

I would go if my boss would give me off work, but no dice. Oh well. Hope everyone has a blast!

Alright, I went in 003 with DW and we had a BLAST :cool1: :cool1: . Here is what I remember:

We got in welll before the concerts started and did not have to leave. The year we were there the stages were as follows:

Main stage: Right smack dab in front of the castle, where Cinderellabration is nowadays.
Side Stages:
-One stage between Adventureland and Frontierland, just to the left as you face Splash Mountain, near POTC (this was the best stage of the whole show, as we saw ZoeGirl and Swithchfoot there).
-Two stages in tomorrowland: One just to the left as you face Buzz (the Galaxy Palace Theater), and one just to the right as you face Space Mountain (Tomorrowland Stage). I think one of these has since been torn down, but don't quote me on that. We saw Rebecca St. James and Salvador on these stages.
-One stage in Cosmic Ray's Cafe. It was VERY crowded there.

Here is the program from one of the 2003 nights....

Also here is a pic of ZoeGirl:

There are rides open but the lines on the nights we were there were VERY long, and you are mostly paying for the concerts anyway.

It was an amazing weekend....I'm sure you'll have a great time! :smooth:

They play 2 shows because the shows overlap. Having two shows enables you to see mroe artists...but you still pretty much have to pick and choose. You will not be able to see EVERY group.

Thank You SO much 2gether! I can't wait for this trip. Do you konw if you can take pictures and video?? If we are going in early, I can't see them saying we can't have them, as surely we can videotape everything else.

Thanks, 2gether for all the info. and for the pictures! I would also like to know if we can video tape? Taking pictures though, must be okay( as I have seen a couple of people now that have pictures from Night of Joy. An less we are not suppose to take them....... :confused3

I used to go every year when I was a teenager. Some of my most fun memories at Disney were of NoJ. Now that I live in NC we don't ever make it down during that time. Hope you have a great time!

We took video the year we were there, along with several others we abserved doing so. It was not forbidden in any of the literature for that year's NOJ that I saw....we've actually got some great video of Salvador. That said, I don't know if I missed something or the rules might have also changed since then. I'm also pretty sure photography is ok.

We enjoyed the trip so much that we actually bought into DVC so we would have the opportunity to go many times since then. Can't wait to go again, probably next year (we're going for CP and MVMCP this year)!

Do- be prepared for the heat, and some occassional rain, though, and get some sleep during the day. No sleep makes for a long night!

Does anyone know if all counter service and sit down restaurants are open on this night? I had heard that only a select few were open in past years.

None of the sit downs are. We are on the Dining Plan for this trip and our ADRs are for around 5:30. We don't eat breakfast though, so will have our counter service for an early lunch and then have early dinners and our snack for late night.

Add another to the list for Friday night. This will be our time going also. my husband is a big fan, I like MercyMe. The group Superchic(k) is from our church, it will be nice seeing them there. See you there~

This would be nice to know, but I can't imagine we will learn this until we get there. 17 days to go!!!!!!!

We're going, on the 9th only, and I'm sooo excited! We listen to nothing but Christian music, and we can't wait to see Stephen Curtis Chapman, Casting crowns, and MercyMe. Does anyone know if they do fireworks that night?

I am also looking forward to see S.C.C. and MercyMe! We just can not wait for it to get here, we also listen to nothing but Christian music(but we also do listen to Disney music as well)! That is a good question about the fireworks, that I don't know. It would be very cool if they did, but my guess is that they won't have them on the Night of Joy nights.

No, no fireworks, not even for the regular guests before NOJ! Which stinks, as I won't get to see them at all. We are doing Epcot on the 8th.

Anyway, we (my friend and I) only listen to Christian music as well and we are most looking forward to NEWSBOYS!!! Then Mercy Me and Audio Adreniline (sp?). Oh and can't forget Big Daddy Weave...LOL!
