Night of Joy Crowds

I just recently booked a FD week and my sister told me that there Night of Joy that week. I was little bummed since i thought i was going to go during low crowds..WIll this be an impact? I was planning to go MK that Friday only to discover it does close at 7 pm for Night of Joy. Will it be very crowded in MK that day? Thanks for you help!

We were in a CR TPV room for a week including the Night of joy last year - found very little impact in the park and the people we came across were very nice - no complaint other than a 300 am "sound check" that sounded and lasted as long as a full blown concert. Was not a Night of Joy for me lol

We went to NOJ a few years back and MK was for all purposes very very low. It started to fill up about 5pm and got vet crowded by 7pm. If you get out by 5pm you'll be alright

We're going then too. I thought we might check it out but if it's like Villians last summer in August it will be crazy crowded.

I was there two years ago during NoJ. I did not go because I'm not into Christian Rock. The crowds at the other parks while the event was going in weren't bad. But MK was a madhouse that Sunday night, the day after NoJ.

ok thanks all....We checking out the day after NOJ anyway, but i was planning to go MK that friday...Maybe I just avoid that park for that day and go EPCOT and go MK day before instead!

We have been several times during the NOJ. We don't usually do parkhoppers and I try to go where the crowds aren't so we like going to MK on those days, even though we have to leave early. We just make that an early to evening day and swim or go to DTD that night. Two years ago, we made a very late (like around 6:00pm) reservation for BOG. We were literally the only ones in the ballroom by 6:30. We were escorted to the entrance by the most AMAZING castmember. I've said it before, but it was the most wonderful experience I've ever had being kicked out of a theme park!
