Any suggestions on where to stay the night before the cruise?

Decide whether you want/need to stay near the airport or at the port. The Radisson at Cape Canaveral allows you to park free at the hotel and shuttles you to the port...also has breakfast. However, it starts at about $85 per night. There are several reasonable airport hotels--Hyatt, Renaissance, etc. You can get these very cheaply thur Priceline if that is a consideration. Most airport hotels have free shuttles back to the airport if you need to do that.
I guess where to stay depends on how you are travelling (car/air) and whether or not you are using Disney transfers.

Hi!
Good point -- we'll be getting in during the evening too -- and I likely won't relish a lenghty drive after that. Besides, I don't want to rent a car.
I work and go to school in downtown Boston, and live in Weymouth.
When are you going?

We always bid for an MCO area hotel via Priceline. We bid at the highest star level and usually end up with the Marriott for $25 to $28. They have a free shuttle, as do the other top-star hotels, and there are courtesy phones in the baggage area where you call them. We use Happy Limo to tak us to the port in the morning, but if you are using DCL transport, you could just take the shuttle back there.
