Night before departure- Orlando or Port?

Which do people prefer and recommend for the night before departure? I currently have a reservation at the Orlando airport Hyatt for the Friday night before departure. It received good reviews on Trip Advisor and DCL provides a free transfer (and deals with the bags) from the Hyatt. So it seemed easiest- only need to deal with the bags once- collecting at the airport.

However, I have read many posts with people suggesting a stay at the Raddison in Port Caneveral. It seems like that would require two trips- one from the airport to the hotel, and then again from hotel to port. I'm not interested in a car rental- and am traveling with two kids and mother-in-law, all of whom I consider high maintenance:-)

All thougths are appreciated!

Bumping!! We have stayed at the Raddison and we weren't that impressed. We are going in June and we are also thinking about staying in Orlando the night before the cruise arrives. I wasn't aware that if you stayed at the Hyatt at the Airport that you get free DCL transfers. How do I find out more on this?

I was wrong- they are not free! You pay for them- the transfer fee in your reservation. Ooops!
