I do not have one anymore, but when I was younger my dad would call me Monkey or Little Dummy.

When DS was 3 he decided he was no longer going to answer to his name, John. Instead he marched over to me one day and announced "I not John. I Mac-Daddy!" For the next several months he would not answer to John, only to Mac-Daddy. Can you only imagine how embarrassing it was to call across a playground or in the grocery store "Come on Mac-Daddy" or "Mac-Daddy do you need to go potty?" I thought I would die.

Now he is 11 and I call him Boogie, Big Dog, or Dog. I call DD squirrel.

Everyone calls me Shaymoose, my music teacher had NO idea how to pronounce my name, earning me just one more nickname, including Shaymlus and Marshall. People call me Marshall by accident, but I have no clue why everyone calls me that.

I go by a nickname, Jen, obviously short for Jennifer. I'm not a Jennifer or a Jenny, and it's always been automatically shortened to Jen. My best friend's name is Marianne, and everywhere she goes she gets "Where's Ginger?", which has earned me the nickname "Ginger", which gets shortened to "Jer" occasionally. At least Ginger is more original than Jennifer. I've also been called Jenny from the block more than once.
