Do you have nicknames for your kid...??

My kids all seem to have gotten nicknames over the years..
Some are just silly but they have stuck anyway!!

Chris: We always called him "Mister Christopher" (not overly original!) and when he was little I called him "My little man".

Sarah's nickname is "Fig". Even Fig has derivations... (Figgy, Figpie, Fig Newton, Fig face) It said in a very endearing manner. When she was a baby she used to squish her face all up constantly and we said it looked like a prune, but prune-face didnt sound very nice, so fig was our next choice.

Emilys name was given to her by an oddball friend of mine when she was 2 and it just kind of stuck... "Emmer P Goobersmoocher" which also turns into "Emmer Pees" on fairly regular basis. I also called her Emmy Stew but that was a long time ago.

Alex has always been Lexi-sauce since he was baby (see my post under songs you make up for your kid) but as of late he is called "Alexander dander doodle-pie". He always rolls his eys when I say it but I think secretly he thinks it funny.

Jeffrey has been "Mr Boy" for as long as I can remember.

OK now you know.. we are one  family!!

DD's is BC for Baby Catherine, sometimes Bat Cat.

Chris was 'Kissy-fur' for several years but now he is 'son'.

Nicole is 'Nikki', gicky, sticky, and little girl.

Brandy is Beatlebum, bea or baby girl.

Emily is Em or Marty or McFly.

I dont know how that started, I know I was the one that started it.

Moira is - Mo, Mosey, Mosey-sita, Moser, Mosey Posey

Elliot is - Mr. E, E Man, Little E, Little Man, Mr. Man, or Buddy Boy

We don't often call the kids by their real names. ;)

Emily is Em, Emmy, Emma-bear, Sweetie, or Petunia.
Thomas is Tommy, Tom, Bug or BugMan- 'cause he was such a little lovebug when he was a baby.
Not that anybody asked but my dh calls me Punkin' and he's Pookie or Honey. :o

I'm not sure my son even knows his real name, now that you mention it.... ;)

Julianne is Jukki, Juliebean, Jules or witchiepoo

Robert is deezer, robbo, budmeister, buddy boy

Caitlin: Toot Sweet or Tootie for short (she was a gassy baby)

Ainslee: Moochie (used to mooch food all the time)

My ds's real name is Donald, we call him DJ, Deej, D, The Boy, stink boy, Pal and Bubba.

DD- Samantha gets called Sam, Sammy, Saminator, Sambonie, Fredrina.

Nicole - "Cole" or "Colie" and "Chycky" (pronounced "Chicky" - that's a nickname she started calling herself years ago)

Jared - "J-Rod" (like A-Rod, the baseball player; my son also plays) and just "J"

Mine are fairly easy..

Kelley...is Belle...one of her favorite characters as a kid and she loves to read

Blair...Blair B

Connor...Con man...

Delaney....Boo...

I tend to call Kendall "Wendall" or "Punkie Wunkin". Don't know where that came from.

Brandon has always been Brandonman or Brandonbutt

Ian is called Butters (I don't know why, I just started calling him that one day:p )

Rachel is Precious. She prefers being called that over her name.

Just try calling my 5 yr.old dd by her real name - she will absolutely ignore you until you use her nickname.

I read all the Delswife trip reports and never remember a child named Brandy, I DO remember Beatlebum though.;)

My oldest son has always been "Sweetie" because he has the sweetest disposition. He just turned 16 this week so he may be getting tired of that one. ::yes::

My youngest son has always been "Peanut" because we had a hard time 'getting him here'. He was a breech baby with the cord wrapped around his neck and I had to have him C-section. That is what the nurse called him when he was delivered and that name just stuck. I suppose he may be getting tired of that one too. ::yes::

"Pete" is his nickname. His real name is completely different (nobody uses it). ;)
