Nickelodian Hotel-What area to Stay?

We will be staying at the Nickelodeon Hotel at end of October for 3 nights. We have a 8 year old boy. What area of the hotel is best to stay in and the reasons for staying in that part? We dont need to by right beside the pool? All your help is appreciated.

The hotel is kind of like a figure 8 with rooms on both the outside and the inside. The inside of top loop is where the bigger kids pool and activities are. I would stay away from the inside of this loop as there was noise from 8AM to 10 PM. The lower loop surrounds the little kids pool.
Last year, we stayed on the inside of the loop with the little kids pool. The only noise we heard was when they put the water on that keeps the slides wet. It sounded like a water fall.
I assume the outer rooms are very quiet, but the waterfall noise only bothered me when they first turn it on.
Please note: If you do not have a car, you will need to do everything on site. There is nothing within walking distance.

I would decide what pool you may use the most the bigger one or the one that has the slides outside of the pool. Then pick somewhere in that area. It is a bit of a walk if you are at the opposite end of the area you use the most. We have stayed poolside for both areas. I never really had an issue with the bigger pool and noise, but it may be that at night we would be out either still in the parks or just out.
We stayed by the younger pool in March and it was perfect for us. We could walk just a few steps to the pool area. We have kids aged 8, 6 and 2 and they really did not use the other pool.
But if you do not want to be near a pool I would pick an area close to the mall food area. from where we were it was a walk to that area. Not a big deal but if you had to kep going back and forth it would be annoying.

Oh and I would try and request first floor. We have been 3 times and had 1st floor all 3 times. The elevators can get to be long waits sometimes going up and down, no matter what area you are in. I would go up for laundry and it sometimes tool so long to get there.

We just stayed in Building One near the Oasis pool. We had easy access to parking and the Mall. The Oasis pool was very quiet and closes early. If you walk in front of all the buildings (instead of through the corridors), it's easy to get to the Lagoon pool and lobby too.
