Anyone ever stay there? We are going for two nights before checking in to WDW for 11 nights. ANy info would be appreciated.

How old are your kids? Usually kids age 8-14 will enjoy the place the most.

The waterpark area will likely be the focus for the kids, so I hope you don't have anything planned those days.

I suggest booking the character breakfast, it's quite good and the character selections is good. The mall also has character meet & greets with a variety of Nicktoons, but count on Spongebob and Dora to pretty much always be present. There is a food court (A&W, Pizza Hit, Subway, BJ's Coffee), a full service restaurant/buffet, and a straightforward buffet available for most of the day, and there's a convenience store and a Nick store as well. There's also a massive arcade and a 3-D theater (that costs money).

I suggest calling the hotel and seeing if you can request a room with a specific character, there's Spongebob, All Grown Up, Jimmy Neutron, Danny Phantom, Fairly OddParents, and probably one or two more characters, but Spongebob costs extra.

There's typically a list of activities available, and there are shows every night with Green Slime. There's also poolside shows with Slime as well. I'd also request a room nearest the Lagoon pool, that's the largest pool area and has the biggest play structure.

Every day at 4:45 they fill the bucket on top of the Lagoon pool structure with slime and dump it on the kids, which is quite a sight to see.

Characters rotate for appearances, but this is the list of characters that may be there during the days you're there:

SpongeBob, Squidward, Patrick, Dora, Boots, Diego, Pablo, Tommy, Chuckie, Angelica, Blue, Little Bill, Aang, Wanda, and Cosmo.

Thanks!!! My kids are 7 and 11. We are not going to any parks just hanging at Nick Hotel. Then go to WDW. Sounds like the kids are gonna love it. They dont know that we are going to this resort and also dont know we are leaving two days earlier for vacation.

They'll love it!

We went last year when DD was 3. She was totally into Dora and Diego at that time. So we knew that the Nick Hotel was the place to go.

Like the other poster suggested, call ahead of time and aske for a specific room. When we got there the Dora rooms were all taken. We ended up with the Rugrats All Grown Up.....yeah, DD had no idea who they were.

We did the character breakfast and it was good!

The pools are great, especailly for older kids. DD3 could not go down the slides, but she liked the zero entry area in the main pool.

Oh, I forgot to add....

They have a craft room that DD loved. There were planned crafts and activities daily. That was neat.

And we went and saw the show at night....it was okay. And we also went to karaoke one evening. But barely anyone showed up for it, so there wasnt much singing that nightl.

We went in August for 2 nights before a week at Disney. My kids LOVED it. they are 11 (DS) and 9(DD). 2 nights was plenty, but glad we stayed more then one. We did the 4D shows, and a family show one night....

We also took a van to a Marriot and did a vacation package presentation (we had no intention of joinnig) but got $100 to spend at the Nick hotel, so our food was basically free!

I recently booked on-line and you had the option to select either a sponge bob, dora or generic character room.
I seem to recall that sponge bob was more expensive. I don't think there was a price difference between dora and generic character. Hopefully we get what we requested.

I agree. We stayed for two nights and it was perfect. Just enough time to do everything, yet not enough time to get bored.
