Crazy - great deal! If you want to go to Sea World and Aquatica

"For a limited time, book your SeaWorld vacation packages with Nickelodeon Suites Resort and receive a FREE child's (ages 3-9) admission to SeaWorld with each paid adult admission! Add Aquatica to the reservation and kids can visit for free there as well! Your SeaWorld and Aquatica ticket is valid only in Orlando. *SeaWorld Orlando admission included in package price. Admission not required for children under 3."

For me, I have 4 adults and 4 kids. I booked two separate reservations and I got this:
4 Adult tickets unlimited visits through your stay both Sea World & Aquatica
4 Child tickets " " " "
2 Bedroom Suite for 1 night and Nick Resort
Another 2 Bedroom Suite for one night
It ran me...$742

....The kicker is that if I had ONLY purchased the Sea World & Aquatica tickets through AAA it would have cost me $894 (with tax etc). It actually saved me $154 for my family to go have fun at the Nickelodeon Resort & Waterslides:rotfl2:

My stay is the end of October so I don't know how much the deal will run fo you for other months.

For fun I did do a check on the typical family of 4 and it saves you about $76.40 to add a night at the Nick Resort :confused3 rather than buying just Seaworld/Aquatica tickets through AAA.

AAA Charges for Sea World w/ Aquatica 2 Adults & 2 Child = $447.32
With the Nick Resort Deal you get 1 night at the Nick Resort in a 2 bedroom, 2 Adult & 2 Child Unlimited Seaworld & Unlimited Aquatica visits during your stay for only = $370.92

I love spending less money and getting more stuff :cool1:

Some other useful info I should have stated:

I was immediately able to print my Aquatica/Sea World E-tickets when I booked this. The E-tickets have an "A" for Adults and a "C" for the Child tickets. Each person's name is listed on the tickets. Just like stated. I paid for 2 adults and I got the 2 child tickets FREE!

My E-tickets for the parks expire 12/29/14!
Unlimited admission to Sea World Orlando and Aquatica. As usual...the Ticket expires 14 days from the date of first use.

But With an expiration date of 12/29/14 this seems like such a great deal! Even if you don't plan on going to the Nickelodeon Resort and just use this to get Sea World/Aquatica Tickets for your upcoming vacation or even for next summers vacation.

My Nick Booking Date was Oct 21st if anyone wants to replicate my prices just for the 2 Adult and 2 Child SeaWorld/Aquatica tickets that cost only $371 & expire 12/29/14

Im pretty sure they have thought around this. If you use the tickets before you stay and then cancel, they would probably subtract the difference from your refund.. And you'd end up paying more than AAA. I'd read the fine print.

You are not getting it. The cheaper price INCLUDES a stay at the hotel. There is nothing to cancel. The hotel plus tickets is actually cheaper than just buying tickets. I'm not sure how else to explain it more clearly.

It blows my mind, but it is true. Just break it down.... You figure roughly Sea World / Aquatica tickets cost $100 per person. That is $400 for a typical family of 4 (2 adults & 2 kids) With the Nick Resort Deal you get a 2 bedroom suite for 1 night with the access to the pool and waterslides plus you get unlimited visit tickets to SW & Aquatica for a family of 4 and it is $370. How is that not a deal?

How many days are the tickets good for? 1 Day park admission per person? Or more days?

I think what the poster of this meant was if you book the package deal ONLY to use the tickets and don't show up for the hotel stay, they may bill you for the full amount. Kind of like if you book a Disney YES class for the discount and don't actually show up for the class, they can eliminate the discount and charge you the regular rate.
I don't know what the policy actually is, but I was just trying to clarify why the above poster might have stated what they did. It's worth inquiring about anyway . . . just to be sure.

We had a really bad experience at the Nick Hotel. I wouldn't touch that place with a 100 foot pole.

The nick hotel is one we have wanted to try, but the trip advisor reviews are so awful, I can't do it.

Please review when you get back, especially if you like it.

I can understand what the poster is talking about but this is not that kind of situation. They already billed me the full amount :confused3 I love how much they charged me for the FULL amount of a hotel stay with tickets. It is cheaper than just buying tickets.

I have read the bad review too and it scared me. But we are going to see the characters and play on the waterslides. We won't need to stay in the room if it is gross and moldy like some people say because I double booked it and the Townshouse we are at for the week. I didn't want to pack and move for 1 night.

I could not sleep last night. I was so excited that I saved $400 on our trip!

Sounds like a great deal, but if booking just to experience Nick hotel think twice. I do understand your still saving on tickets, but spend your time at parks and not hotel.

Just got back from Nick hotel last week and we left early with no refund (paid for two nights, but only stayed one, would have left first night but afraid to drive 6+ hours with no sleep) it was so bad. I read reviews and thought it can't be that bad, it is. My 8 and 3 year old didn't even mind leaving early, which rare, they always beg to stay past planned vacation dates. You will also pay a $25 fee a night for a room with two walls covered in nick wallpaper, this is considered a themed room. Our carpet was damp and covered in black mold. The pull out couch had dirty sheets covered in food, hair, and wet marks. This mattress is also very thin and you can feel every spring and the frame. Under each bed was covered in food and a shirt from other guests. Requested room towels, as there were only two, waited over 3 hours for three more. Asked us to come pick up sheets and change since they were understaffed. Had to switch rooms at midnight because a/c broke. Second room also moldy and dirty. Paid $30 resort fee for activities, upon arrival told all that was included was pools for that cost. That's fine but only one pool open during the middle of June, the other was closed the whole time. Main pool WAY overcrowded, no room to move. Water slides all had a 30 to 40 minute wait. Food court is lacking. Employees would pitch additional activities to my children when they were eating or swimming, after they were hooked, mention that there was additional fee for us to pay. Kids excited about getting slimed as advertised, informed it was $150 for first person, and $50 for every additional person. No slime for us. Even though we were out and about all day, never encountered even one character.Resort is very noisy all night, woke up at least three times due to children running and yelling outside the room. Staff as a whole seemed too busy for guest and lifeless. One girl actually complained because when buying ice cream my child wanted vanilla and she would have to open more, couldn't they choose another flavor.

We did leave feedback with a manager about all of this before leaving, and they are going to "contact us, but his hands were tied because he was booked, therefore very busy". Maybe I am being petty (even though I usually stay value and I am not hard to please) but I expect more from a resort with rooms that cost me $236 a night, plus an additional $30, plus another $25 a night (grand total $291 a night). After taxes and other fees over $650 for two nights. Especially from a well known brand offering family oriented vacations in an area with stiff competition. For this rate, I could have enjoyed a deluxe Disney resort and pool for two days :( live and learn.

^ Yikes!! That's so sad to hear how downhill it went. My family stayed there back before it became the Nick hotel and I have so many good memories from it. On our last visit there they were in the middle of renovating it to become the Nick hotel. Sounds like it's gone downhill and then some!

It was way better when it was the Holiday Inn Family Suites. We stayed there once since it became the Nick, in about 2005 I think, and I wasn't impressed. Seemed the same or worse than when it was the Holiday Inn and the rates doubled.

We stayed there and my son got sick and it was all over the carpet. We called to get something to try and clean it up and all the girl brought was a small hand towel and a sheet to put over it until the morning. There was no way we were going to walk on it all night and morning trying to get ready. I asked if she could bring something else and I would be glad to clean it and she said, no, they would get it in the morning. So we had to deal with the sheet on top of puke in the living room and to the bathroom all night and half the morning. We finally checked out and left. We went to pop century instead. We have never been in such a place as Nick Hotel was. Don't waste your money.

I agree! It was a wonderful hotel when it was the holiday inn.

Can you elaborate as I am considering staying here in the future

In a nutshell:

The rooms are disgusting beyond dis-comfortable. Floors/rugs damp and wet. Furniture filthy, sticky, damp. Kids room yucky filthy (our son stayed with us in adult bedroom). Air conditioning system not right as it was clammy where nothing.... NOTHING, could get less wet. Towels and swimwear stay as wet as they were the night before. We took towels to the pool area to get dry.

Now I realize anyone can have a bad experience at any resort. But if you google Nick Hotel reviews you will find the same following complaints from review after review (and our experience was the same also):

1. No refunds and you have to prepay the whole stay.
2. Hard sell at check-in for room category upgrade as well as activity upgrade.
3. $25 per day resort fee charged at check-in for entire stay.
4. Room conditions unbearable/unlivable.

May I suggest if you must try the Nick Hotel that you book a one night stay. That way you don't invest a lot of money. Any if you want, you could extend your stay after trying it out for the night.

Also, if you check my posts, I'm a positive guy. But the Nick Hotel was.... YUCK:(

I see it's a deal. And it's a one night stay for free (the way it looks). If you don't like the Hotel, drive your car to another Hotel for the night. Good find.

Quite possible with this place. If nothing else, they charge a daily resort fee ($25 a day when we stayed at this yucky place). I could see them charging that if you didn't show up. But I guess a call to the Hotel would give us the answer to this question.

Thanks for your feedback and I'm thinking of maybe doing a night or two just as you suggested to try it. Mary
