Accommodating Grandma would like to acquiese for one night despite it being pricey and many rather dismal reviews.

Any positive experiences here or experts at getting their best price?

To fit it into itinerary would be checking in after 6 pm and using facilities the next day, which i hope is permissable with a changing room somewhere on the property.

We stayed there for two nights and I'd say don't get scared by the bad reviews. Our suite was clean and the kids loved the decor and bunk beds. Pool and slides were nice. My kids loved the characters and the TMNT breakfast that we did. We also did a Dora show and Double Dare show. It was nice for two days but I couldn't have done more.

We stayed a few years ago and while the property was old the rooms were very clean which is important to me. We stayed two nights and took a little getting used to but all in all it was for the kids and worked out fine. Two nights was enough and then we went to Disney.

I called today. Was told they would be starting a major renovation in September to run into February. Will include 500 of the suites, public Areas and the main pool (after Xmas)

Since we'd be ckg in rather late had planned on doing pool the next day. Was told even if we checked out at 11 am would be asked to leave water park at 1 am

I called back and the above was confirmed, including 1 pm cutoff At pool. When I said that was ridiculous was told we could stay as it's more of a suggested departure time. Even crazier answer imo.

Was cautioned to not go thru key card entrance after 11 am or we won't get back into property. That I understand.
