Rachael 33 - Obsessive planner, Disney phreak, just plain obsessive about everything, trip report writer.
Nick 32 - Calm, mild mannered Disney phreak, leaves trip planning to Rachael. Hard working needs this vacation.

Again the day begins with a call from Mickey. This morning we have a PS at Chef Mickey’s. We really don’t know what to expect but off we went. Well if you have never been to Chef Mickey’s Nick & I really recommend it, a great time was had by all.
If you don’t know what it is I’ll tell you. It’s a character breakfast where Mickey, Minnie, Chip, Dale, Pluto and Goofey all come over to your table and spend time with you. It’s great we got wonderful pictures with all mentioned. Then every so often Chef Mickey comes around music blares and everyone is supposed to “party” with Chef Mickey and wave your napkins in the air. I played and waved my napkin, Nick didn’t but I could really tell he wanted to. The food was pretty good for hot table food. We bought the picture they take when you come in.

This is also where we saw Disney incident #1. We always number the incidents we see going on where they have to call managers or security or something. Disney handles these things so FAST that most times you never even know something has happened from what we could tell some woman who didn’t speak much English had “lost” something. And management and security were trying to figure out what she was talking about.

Later in the visit Nick asked if we could go again. Luckily I called and was able to get another PS for later in the week. I will tell you about that later.

Off to MK on the monorail. As a monorail resort guest you are allowed to ride in the front of the monorail if there is no one in the cab. We are first in line and are just about to ask if we can ride in front when some parents push their kids past us and into the front cab. Oh well they know good and well they cut us off but Nick and I head to the back knowing their bad karma will catch up with them. This is really a point of contention for me when people think that just because we don’t have kids with us we aren’t just as important as they are. We paid just as much money to be here as they did. This happens all the time at all sorts of places. Sometimes the cast members are quick to notice and let them know that “this family was ahead of you” meaning me & Nick)
Of course we aren’t going to let some rude people ruin our day.

We get to the MK and head to AE and get a fast pass for Buzz. This is probably the most crowded any park is out of all the days we are there. Then we rode COP for the 1st time. It was great. It sort of stopped for a minute and I guess these impatient people in front of us decided they could only wait 30 seconds for it to resume and got up and tried to leave. Well as they were walking to the door the thing starts up and they almost loose their balance as they try to return to their seats. It was sort of funny. I guess you had to be there. We use our FP for Buzz. Buzz is really crowded and we would like to ride again but we know on the upcoming e-ride night we will be able to ride as much as we want.

After that we ride TTA. That is a cool ride even if it is slow and not to thrilling. We both really like it. We head over to FL and get a fast pass for Pooh. We then head to AL and ride Pirates, tiki birds, go to the hall of presidents for the 1st time. And then we go get a fast pass for splash mountain. This is OUR favorite WDW/DL ride. While in AL we get to peak at the Magic carpet ride they are building. There is a little crack in the wood so we peak in. Not much to see yet just some guys working with some cement.

We then head back to FL and ride snow white and small world.

It’s then time for our PS at Cindy’s castle, we check in a wait and people watch.
Another funny thing happens there is this man in his late 40’s waiting with his family and he seems the type who can’t sit still. The funny part is he keeps walking in and out, I guess he thinks this will help him get his table faster, but the REALLY funny part is we NEVER see him go out only come in. This goes on for ½ hour and Nick and I are busting up. There he is coming in again, here he comes again, look who’s coming back in.
It was too funny. Finally they get called up to their table ending our amusement. Until this little girl is just obsessed with me and keeps coming over and showing me her belly button over and over again. It was too funny I was laughing so hard. I tried to play pee-a-boo to distract her but she had a one-track mind and kept showing me that button over and over. It was very cute. We get called to dinner and both have the prime rib. VERY VERY good.

We then head out and use our FP for Pooh (remember the FP we got hours ago?)
Pooh was busy that day. We then head over to splash and use that fast pass too.

We ride a few more rides till the park closes at 10pm. We return to the hotel and have a drink at the outer rim and then to bed.

15.2 miles walked
Burn out is eminent.

Tomorrow EPCOT.

Rachael, Thanks for the wonderful report. Sounds like you and Nick are having a great time.

I love the story of the little girl who was showing you her belly-button. lol. Having 4 grandchildren, 2 3-year olds I can relate to this story.

Each person's personal little stories or observation are what makes their Trip Report so unique. Thanks for adding them to your story.

Rachel, Thanks for making me laugh, and I mean hard! That guy that kept coming in! Oh my gosh, I just cracked up. My family came in to check on me! I'm a Kindergarten Teacher and I can relate to the belly button story and also your nickname! I do love going to WDW with just my husband. We have 2 daughters, but have sometimes put them in nice, way too expensive camps, that they begged to go to. Then with our guilt appeased, we've snuck off to WDW, just the 2 of us. What fun we have! Then we take them next time! I loved your trip report. I'm going now to read your other days! Pomcoach

Another day filled with Disney magic and belly buttons - lol. Thanks for posting!

It sounds like the two of you are having a wonderful time...I am remembering the times that dh & I went alone before we had our two babies. We are really enjoying reading your humorous, and colorful accounts! Thanks for the laughs! :)

We're big people watcher's, too. I think we see alot more than most people. I hope my DH and I have as much fun when we go by ourselves. (I don't think my DH would wave his napkin, either. Than again, you never know!)

Barb-for Real!
Been there, done that, GOING BACK!
