Nick Resort Hotel

My girls and I are planning a trip in October. From what I have learned on here, there is no need to pay the extra to stay on site in October. My girls are dieing to stay at the Nick Resort Hotel. I have read mixed reviews on Trip Advisor about it. Has anyone actually stayed there? If so, how was it? Would you recommend staying there?

If I am not mistaking and your planning on going to Universal this hotel is pretty far away cause when my boys were younger they wanted to stay there but we never rent a car so it was never a option for us

We stayed there several years ago. It was okay. The kids loved it! Don't stay on the main pool side. It is crazy! We originally got a room on this side, since the kids wanted a Spongebob room. When we saw the location we requested to move. There are tons of activities, but everything is very crowded and takes forever.

It was great for the kids, but I'm glad they outgrew it.

I love the nick for a night or 2 but would never consider it for a week.

As one of the pp's said it's a love hate thing, ultimately I've never spoke with a kid who didn't dig it, some parents not so much.

We stayed at Nick for three days last year. My kid's loved it and my husband and I loved it too! We arrived at 11:00 and asked to check in early. They said that they had no standard rooms ready yet but they would happily give us a free upgrade to a Jimmy Neutron suite. The kids had a great time at the game show and at the character breakfast.
