I hate to post on the Nick Hotel again(I see it on here often) but I would like some opinions on this. I am taking a mini-trip to Disney(about two weeks before my actual 2 week trip!!) with another part of my extended family. There is only my aunt and her two kids ages 7 and 12. We are using priority club points for our hotel stays and I found out that I can book the Nick Hotel with these-but it requires quite a small chunk. We have enough points to book one night at Nick hotel and then stay at a nice holiday inn suite the rest of our stay. In your opinion is it worth it to stay @ Nick for just one night? We are only doing one day in Epcot and one of the pirate and princess parties so I was hoping this would be another 'fun' thing for the kids. This is a budget trip for them and I am just along to fund part of it(my treat for the kids whom I am very attached to). Any opinions are greatly appreciated. I am taking them to Rainforest cafe for dinner one night but this is a very short trip(4) days total and I need to fill one day with something. I was hoping Nick might be a good alternative. Anyways sorry so windy, hope to hear some replies. TIA:goodvibes

My kids, (4, 10 & 12) totally loved this place when we went. Are you planning on trying to check-in early and stay after check-out to enjoy the pools? If you don't mind using the points, I would say do it. I can't image they would not like the pools and evening shows if they at all like Nick stuff.
If I could get one night free, I'd stay two and consider it a nice 50% discount.

Hope you enjoy both of your trips!

The units are kind of small in my opinion, but the kids don't usually care with all of the fun activities that they have going on.

Thanks:) Yes we are planning to try and check in early as possible. I figured we would save this for the last day so that we aren't too tired to drive back the next day. I'm glad to hear its as fun as it sounds, the little boy(he is 7) wants to stay there so bad he can't stand it. He said if we stayed there he would faint LOL. But I had read so many bad reviews I was really worried about it. I don't think we would get enough use out of a second day as I have two park days planned and one dinner at rainforest. Like I said, just a nice short trip. We have stayed at the holiday inn across from Universal and they have 2 bedroom suites that are always spacious and clean-so we will be spending the remaining couple of days here. I don't mind at all to use the points if its a nice clean kid oriented place with lots to do! We just need one day to fill up and this sounded like a good alternative. Thank you for your replies:)
