Nick Hotel Restaraunts

We'll be staying here for one night on 8/17 before heading to Disney hotel.
I've read some things about kids eating free.
Does this only apply to the character buffet rest. or does it apply to all of them within the hotel.
Any and all info is much appreciated.

It's only for kids 5 and under, at designated restaurants from a select kids menu. I have no idea which restaurants since my DDs were over 5.

It did not apply to the character breakfast when we were there in April of this year. Just the other breakfast buffet place (with seating in the main building) and the lunch/dinner buffet restaurant (seating in the restaurant). Didn't apply to the "fast food" places either.

The character meal is only for breakfast or at least it used to be. The KEF plan is now for kids 5 & under and it's doesn't apply to the character meal. The food is fine, not great and the character interaction is pretty good. For dinner, the kids used to eat off the buffet but now there is a kid's menuin the Nicktoons cafe where the better food is. We didn't bother last time we were there. We did eat in the buffet place next to the game room and they honored the KEF there too and some of the same food and the kids got the buffet. They just had a smaller choice.
