I just saw this pop up today, wasn't here earlier in the day when I was looking for something. Hopefully it will help someone out!

Good deal! It says they are waiving the $28 resort fee but it isn't coming off for me if I book online. Anybody else complete a ressie where it did come off?

Thank you Thank you Thank you!!!! We are staying one night in May and I was able to call and get the Travel Zoo Rate (I tried booking online and it came up $109/night with the resort fee). My rate was $119.00/night with the $28.13 resort fee - now its $79.00/night and no resort fee - yippee!!!!!!

Yeah, so now it's already up to 109...And the Quality Inn is getting booked so they are at 69, crazy how this all changes. Make reservations now before everything gets booked and rises in price.

Their Florida resident deal includes waiver of the resort fee as well and includes arcade cards and food discounts. I called and booked yesterday. They said that the resort fee would be waive at check in so I printed out the offer page off of their website showing that the fee should be waived, just in case.

We just stayed there in February and the kids have been dying to go back. They will be pleased. I was just about to book Coronado Springs when this deal came up. We'd much prefer the privacy you get in a suite.

Crazy that it went up already! Glad some of you were able to take advantage of it!

Try calling the hotel directly - when I tried to book online last night the $109 rate came up, so I called and spoke to reservations and he was able to book the $79.00 rate for me - I was also told that the resort fee would be waived at check-in.

The $79.00 deal was for a 1 bedroom. The $109.00 deal is for a 2 bedroom. When I called last night, I wanted a 2 bed room and the price was $109.00, not bad considering I've been pricing this hotel for about a month on different websites. I booked tonight. They said they will waive the resort fee when you arrive so I printed out the Travelzoo website deal and will take it with me. I think I'll wait and surprise the kids. They'll love it, me and hubby will just have to take our earplugs!

I just booked the fla resident rate tonight thru their website.. mine was $119 plus tax. Might as well do that one instead of travel zoo since we get free drinks kids and adult ones, coupon for tokens, etc in the coupon pack at check in. they also told me the fee will be waived at check in.. we are doing in the 1st week in June for the kids end of the school year trip..

Yea!! :cool1: I booked the TVLZOO rate yesterday as well, 109/2 bdrm, waived resort fee. I'm so excited, cuz we were at 159/night plus resort fee but we had 50/day food credit. This is still so much better cuz we're not locked into eating there the whole time!! And you can't beat no resort fee!! I'm also bringing my printout, just in case..:goodvibes

Does anybody know if the internet access in the rooms is free? I can't remember (and I was just there in February). I'm trying to decide if I should bring my laptop.

There is supposed to be free internet in the room that is accessed through the t.v. We were just there a few weeks ago and the one in our room didn't work. We were only there for 1 night so I didn't worry about it.

Does anyone know if you make reservations for the character breakfast, or if its just walk-in? also does the buffet participate in the kids eat free program they offer?

You can make resv. at 877.NICK.111, option 2. I suppose you might be able to walk in if it isn't crowded.

Kids do not eat free at the character buffet breakfast, not sure about the other buffets.

Congrats to those of you who got this deal! It did not apply to our dates or I probably would have done this, too. DH probably wouldn't have been very impressed, LOL. DS would have been in heaven. I didn't even tell him Sea World is in the same city as the Nick Hotel. :rolleyes1
