Nick Hotel-- Is this place clean?? and can u visit and use pool?

My kids sooooo want to stay here. My parents are staying at the HGVC. I soooo want to stay there.
My husband doesnt mind the cheesiness of it all, BUT is picky with thgs being clean.

If I talk kids into being ok with HGVC, can I pay to use facility for day or two over at Nick????

I don't know if you can pay to use the pool, I doubt it. I wanted to go to the gift shop and couldn't even do that without being a guest at the hotel. My grandkids love the Dora stuff but we were stopped at the gate and told the gift shop is only for those that stay at the hotel. Maybe if you wanted to rent a room for one night and just use it for changing so that you could use the pool areas etc. ???

Unfortunately, you cannot get into this property unless you are a guest staying on the property. You cannot use the pool unless you are either staying htere or having a birthday party and you cannot visit the "mall" area either. That includes the character breakfast and all the shops and restaurants. Security here is pretty tight.

I was just in Orlando and spent Jan.31-Feb.3 at the Nick hotel and then Feb.3-9 @ Disney. I was very disappointed with the Nick hotel, especially for the price. My room was very dirty and the activities for children were poor IMHO. I am glad to have visited/tried this hotel once, but I will not be returning. I know other people on this board have liked it, but everone has their own ideas of fun and filth. You cannot access this property without staying there. They give you a bracelet you have to keep on for your entire stay and if you loose it and need a replacement they will charge you $25 per lost bracelet. Also, during my stay one of the big pools was shut down for the entire stay. Good Luck!!!!
