Nick Hotel- How is it?

We're going to Disney at the end of January and staying at Pop for a week. We're then going to spend a couple more days in the Orlando area. I was considering staying at a different Disney resort, but then remembered the Nick Hotel. I imagine my kids ages 8 and 6 would love it. Has anyone stayed there? Any reviews? (My board search would not work.)

We stayed there about 3 years ago and it was awesome. We really enjoyed it.

We stayed there it has changed management since then it was nice but service not so good we paid a lot as it was holiday weekend .Next time would look for special as it was $300 a night they charged $20 resort tax a night.

We stayed there when they first opened up in 2005. The kids loved it, DH not so much. We've never gone back but the kids still talk about it and would love to get back there one day.

we went & enjoyed it - don't get sucked into doing a specialty suite- cost us $50 extra to have the Dora Suite which was a regular suite with Dora painted on the wall! But the pools were a ton of fun!

We stayed there in August with our b/g twins that are 5. They really loved it, however the hotel was packed, and it was really hard to keep up with them when they were at the pool. If it is crowded, they can get lost in the crowd easily. One other difficulty was that young kids were running around without any supervision, so it was very chaotic. It might not be that busy during the time you want to go, so you probably won't have those kind of issues. Again, my kids loved it, they got to meet Spongebob and Patrick, and we did a couple of the character meals, and saw one of their 4D movies.

Never been myself but my friend loves it. She has 2 little girls who just adore the hotel.

She always says they could spend a day just doing stuff there!
