Nick Hotel and dining

Do you have to be staying at the hotel to dine there? I saw that they have a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Character dinner and my boys would love to go to it. I wasn't sure if it was like Disney where anyone can eat at the resorts or if you had to be staying there.

You do need to be a guest of the Nick hotel in order to dine at their restaurants.

My DD is OBSESSED with the TMNT and I wanted to surprise her on our trip last April with the TMNT dinner. When I tried to book a reservation I was denied because I wasn't booked in their resort. It's such a bummer because the Nick characters are wildly popular but no one wants to stay at the hotel because it's in such dire need of repair.
