Nicest grocery stores?

We are staying off-site in Orlando and will have a full kitchen and car. Wondering if you guys can recommend the nicest grocery stores (and a nice deli for prepared foods would be great too!). Thanks! :)

When we would stay off-site, we would get most of our groceries at Walmart. We would go to Publix occasionally for their fried chicken and also get some groceries there as well.

Not sure where you'll be, but our favourite is generally Publix on I-Drive, just near the outlet mall. Love the fried chicken! We find that this store is preferable to the one further north on Central Florida Parkway, just because it's newer.

PUBLIX!!! I wished we lived closed to one so when we stay in FL, that is our go-to grocery store.

Publix.

For regular groceries, there's also Target and Walmart. I don't recall a nearby Walmart (depending on where you're staying), but there's a Target a bit further west off I-4 on the 27.

If you're up for a 'road trip' of sorts, Costco is fairly near to the airport.

Another vote for Publix. It's funny people mention the fried chicken. We loved it too. It was a nice surprise.

Publix; there are several surrounding WDW and all are great. The chain is employee owned and operated and always rates near the top of Consumer Reports list of grocery chains. Note that I was surprised that they beat out both Walmart and Costco for the cheapest price on a standard basket of groceries in the 2018 Unofficial Guide. There are a couple of Publix store brand supplies that we regularly stock up on and bring home (we have 6 rolls of the HD Aluminum Foil in the pantry, and I'll probably still buy a couple more in March). So good quality, good service, good prices.

We used to also hit Whole Foods on Sand Lake for DS food intolerance, but Publix has a much expanded selection of those items now too; to the point that we found more at Publix than at Whole Paychecks!

ETA: Went back and reviewed the UG. The comparison was Publix, Super Target, Winn Dixie and Garden Grocer. Mis-remembered Winn- Dixie as WalMart. Regardless, Publix was lowest, at almost half the cost of GG and 10% less than Target.

Last two times in Orlando we went to Publix because it was the supermarket closest to us. Seemed pretty much the same as what we have up here, and that's all I can ask for.

This summer, with 8 people. we'll almost certainly be hitting a combination of Publix, Costco and an Asian supermarket. If anyone knows of a place that is T&T-ish, I'd love to know.
