Nicer restaurants where you don't have to dress up?

I am going to WDW in 17 days :cool1: and am having a bit of an issue. It is just me and DH and we really want to eat at some of the nicer places. The problem? I am right in the center of morning sickness and there is NO WAY I am going to want to get all dressed up and go somewhere. Where can I get a nice romantic meal in jeans?

Hi,

You can eat in any WDW restaurant wearing jeans except for Victoria & Albert's. Enjoy your trip!

If you can stand to put on jeans and say a polo shirt? or some kind of blouse? I say you can go to most any Disney restaurant. Especially if your ADR is 630 or earlier. I'd say 630 is the mark where you see more people dress up. Then again, I still see people in jeans. As long as you're not wearing a character tee, you'll feel comfortable.

I also give a pass to anyone who's pregnant.

Or, if you don't want to do a signature meal, GFC is overlooked and has a really nice setting.

I will go a bit further and suggest The Brown Derby at Hollywood Studios and Le Cellier in Epcot. Narcooses at the Grand Floridian is another romantic choice and so is Jiko at Animal Kingdom. You can wear jeans and a nice shirt to any of these nice restaurants and not feel out of place!

Have a great time with just you and your husband...it gets harder to eat out at places with cloth napkins after having the kiddos:) Congrats!!!!!

Dress up at WDW restaurants? Doesn't happen! Well, some people do, but I've never, ever seen anyone turned away from the signatures even when they were blatantly breaking the dress code (a pair of shredded blue jeans comes to mind). The only exception is Victoria and Albert's. I usually wear jeans myself to the sigs. (NOT torn tho') and love not having to dress up to get a Jiko-quality meal.

Exactly...just go in whatever you wear to the park as long as it isn't your swimsuit and you are good to go! Enjoy!
