Nice wedding spots in PA??

My fiance and I have been engaged for over 8 months. Everyone is harrassing us about setting a date. We have both been married and divorced so we can't get married in a church. We are in the West Chester, PA area. Is anyone out there from this area that can clue me on a nice place (and cheap, since we are paying for it ourselves) to have a wedding and/or reception? Somewhere outside would be ideal. Thanks!!!

check out http://www.theknot.com its a wedding board & is so helpful when planning a wedding. i know im getting married in 48 days 3/21 they have etiquette, planning & site suggestions, a free chat board - i would post your wedding spot suggestion under the pa local board there, they also offer free wedding websites for couples.

When I lived in West Chester, we almost got married here
The Community Arts Center in Wallingford, PA
It's a beautiful mansion and you can rent the whole building or just the first floor and grounds. Our idea was to have the ceremony in the upstairs ballroom (?), then reception on the first floor. It is an Arts Center, and the exhibits change, so you just have to pray for good art on the walls

They do... and the grounds are gorgeous... but they are very expensive.

DBF's sister got married in New Hope. I'm not sure where she had the ceremony but she had the reception at one of the restaurants in the peddlers village. She has great pictures of her in her wedding dress on the carousel- very cute.
