Nice Room at BCV!

We spent a lovely Thanksgiving week at BCV in room 546. Just wanted to let everyone know what a wonderful room it was. Non-smoking, non-handicapped 1 bedroom with a great view of Epcot (Spaceship Earth, Journey Into Imagination, Canadian Pavilion), wonderful view of Illuminations. We did not notice the road noise at all (unless we were on the balcony and a car happened by - but there truly wasn't that much traffic). Not too close to the elevators, but not too far away either. Fairly close to ice machine.

The room was clean, with no items missing from the kitchen. Carpeting at the threshold between the bedroom and bathroom was slightly frayed - we didn't report it until we left since it wasn't something we wanted to be bothered with during our stay (and it wasn't that bad).

Hope this helps.

Glad to hear such a good report from the BCV. We have been hearing so much lately about problems. Especially nice to hear that the room was in good shape.

Thanks for posting your trip. DH and I just bought in October and I seem to only find the bad trip reports. It's so refreshing to hear the good experiences too. I was beginning to get nervous. Thanks for taking the time.

Glad that you had a good time.

Sounds great! Would love to be at WDW, especially after the foot of snow we had dropped on us this weekend.

It was lovely. We saw a lot of painting, and touching up going on while we there.

No problems to speak of, and got to give Art the Greeter a picture of him with my daughter from the October trip. Art was so touched he started to have tears in his eyes.

XMAS decorations were beautiful, and we enjoyed Yatchsman's Steak house so much went there 3 times (I liked the spinach salad - thought it was excellent). By the way, you get a 10 percent discount at Yatchsman's.

It was cool, but still went swimming 3 days, and hot tubbing.

The kid's club (Sandlecastle Club) was excellent, allowing hubby to me to have a fireworks date one night, and adult dinners as well. We would invite our daughter along, and she would ask to go play with the kids. Oh, Rats! LOL.

The Tea Party at the GF was outstanding.

The Adventures in Cooking was okay (lots of fun, but no actual cooking occurs).

One special treat we did on Dec. 2 was for DVCers, and we got to decorate a gingerbread house. It is lovely, and yes, I lugged it home by hand thru the airport. This was a special treat, so if you get a chance to do it, you might enjoy.

All in all, one of the best vacations ever!

Love that beach club, Goldi.

FYI - Going to Old Key West to take my Mom and Step-Dad (who just had 4-way bypass recently) in Feb, so I'll be touching base later to get handicap tips.

Oh, the Your Ride worked out fine, and we took the Bus to MK, and then momorail to the GF for daughters activities. Took an hour, but was easy. Then, on the way home, hoped on monorail to Epcot, did rides, and walked home to BCV.

My daughter thinks this is her other home!

Tom, a very nice Grey Haired gentleman. I believe he may be the owner ? and had a business suit on (very fancy).

We had another person on the way back. The schedules were getting hectic with the Eastern Snow Storm and changed / cancelled flights.

We had an excellent experience with them, and would use them again.

We also had a good experience with them. We had Mike last year but I don't think he is there any longer. Thanks.
