Nice Rate from Dollar - Late Aug

Booked through sidestep, a compact car with Dollar, Aug 27-Aug 31, $12.99 per day + taxes.

Joined Fastbreak and emailed them to add the membership # to the reservation which was done quite promptly.

We rented from Dollar in 2001 and it was fine except the long line - hopefully Fastbreak takes care of that.

Thrifty also has excellent rates for that time period - I just chose Dollar as they are in the terminal.

Dollar: Intermediate Car Base is 163.87
w/taxes 224.16

It's actually priced as 11days at 13.99, 2 extra days at 4.99 per hour. So I guess if I return the car sooner it will be less.

I had National for a week only for 186.13 with taxes. Now I have a car for the whole time period ( an extra 4 days) for only an extra $38.00!!
