Nice Places to Stay off I-75 in Georgia?

We have not made reservations for a stopping place on our drive to WDW next week (it sure is fun to say that ) because we wanted to keep going as long as the kids were tolerant. I would like to keep a list of potential places to stay with us and as we get closer to where we think we would like to stop call ahead and make the reservation. I figure we need to make it to at least Atlanta on our first day but ideally we would be south of Atlanta.

Can anyone recommend some nice, safe places to stay off of I-75 south of Atlanta? I figure we will still be in Georgia but I guess it is possible we could make it to north Florida. We want someplace close to the interstate (easy on/off) that is clean and safe and maybe even provides for an area where our kids can run around and blow off some steam after being in the car all day.

I would try to make it to Valdosta - there are a number of fine spots - I always do Marriott properties for the points so I would be at the Fairfied Inn there. Macon isn't quite as far and I stay there too at the Fairfield.

We've stayed at a Hampton Inn just south of Atlanta a few times. In Marietta maybe? We drove from Chicago so we would really try to push it to south of Atlanta. From Missouri I bet you could get to Macon or Vladosta. However I remember Macon being off the HWY and not having stuff right off the road. It's been awhile.

We've also stayed at a Hoilday Inn Express just north of Atlanta in Kennesaw.
