Nice hotel in Baltimore?

We stayed at the SpringHill Suites at Flamingo Crossing for our night before our last day. Great location, great room and price was good too. Very quick and easy to get on Disney property from there too. We arrived late and didn't want to go off property thought their on site restaurant was pretty darn good. In the morning we went straight to DHS and got our Boarding Pass for Rise of the Resistance end up riding it right away, then raced to drop things off at our hotel and the car and then back to DHS for the rest of the day.

Yes, I meant the airport. Sorry for the confusion- I edited the thread title. I didn't realize until seeing the first responses that some people might have thought I meant Boardwalk.

Ok - I can't put the link here so if you google hotels near BWI you'll see that there are several brand name /recognizable places to stay Are you just coming thru the area or do you need a place to stay in conjunction with a event? That might help area folks to make a better recommendation.

Going to John Hopkins Outpatient Center. I guess it could be close to that, except that I read that it's not in a good part of town.

Check Hopkins website. Hospitals frequently list hotels which offer contracted rates and shuttle service.

The hospital's list has about a dozen hotels in different price ranges. It's a completely generic list with no recommendations. That's why I asked here.

I think then, you may want to seek out recommendations from folks who have gone to the same facility and stayed at some of the listed hotels. I've not been to that facility - is there a coordinator there or patients services person who you could ask for a specific recommendation?

I've stayed at a few places near the airport when I've flown out super early, but not for about 2+ years, and I recall them as just fine, but honestly we arrived at about 8 PM and left around 4 AM so all we did was try to get a few hours sleep before traveling. Nothing terribly out of the ordinary so nothing great or horrible stands out. There used to be a decent Sheraton that was at the airport, right next to hourly/short term parking that was very nice and convenient but it's been gone for years, unfortunately.

Sheraton BWI
County Inn & Suites BWI
Fairfield Inn BWI

Good luck-

The airport would be a bit of a drive into Baltimore, which is fine as long as you don't mind the commute (about 30 mins). Depending on the time of your appointment, it might make more sense to stay in town. There are very nice hotels in the harbor area and lots of restaurants as well with a range of prices. As far as safety is concerned, exercise the same precautions you would in any major city and you'll be fine.
