Uncleromulus had just recently made reservations at Wolfgang Puck's Upstairs dining room for Tuesday, Oct 5.
Today I got a call from Christine, the General manager of the Cafe. She said that a party had booked the entire restaurant for that evening and, even tho thy had notified WDW-DINE, my reservation was somehow booked anyway. She apologized for the situation and asked if there was another evening during our trip we'd like to eat at Wolfgang's. Turned out there was and w/o making us call back WDW-DINE to change everything, she took care of it herself, on the spot.
It may well be that at some point WDW-DINE would have contacted me with the information, but her calling me personally (and with plenty of time to spare before our trip) was a nice touch and one which I thought I'd share with the group!!
