The Friday before our cruise will be our 10 year anniversary and I wanted to go somewhere nice for dinner. We will have our two DD8 but they are extremely well behaved in restaurants and I have never had a hard time taking them anywhere. Anyone know a good place? Do I need reservations? Any help would be appreciated. We ate dinner at Perkins the last time but that just doesnt seem special enough... After all, the poor man has put up with me for 10 years!!:teeth:

The Atlantic Grille which is at the pier is a good choice if you want a little fancier try Bernard Surf Lots of history (astonauts, stars, etc) to get to the peir just go s on A1a about 2 miles past port to get t Bernards Surf keep going South on A! about 8 miles until ythe road forks and you only have one way traffic go to next light and turn left it is on the croner on the right parking is on left

We ate the night before our cruise at Grills seafood deck and tiki bar. It is right on the channel and we saw the Magic go by on its way out (this was a Saturday; don't know if anything leaves on Friday). You can go to visitgrills.com and check it out. They also have a coupon on the website.

I'd go for a spot overlooking the water. Either Rusty's or Grills... overlooking the ship channel; or one of the restaurants on the Cocoa Beach Pier; or Sunset Cafe overlooking the Banana River... especially if I were to time the dinner for sunset.

My MOSTEST ( I know not good English) favorite on the water is at the Cocoa Beach Pier - The have a fancier restaurant there - reasonable - in fact if you go to savingssafari.com, they have a discount ticket in there you can print out and use - they are located at 401 Meade Avenue and phone number is 321-783-7549
Also the Sunset Rest. that Dave was speaking of is great also - very casual - of course the port is not bad - they do have music on the weekends.
Rusty's hummmmmmmmmm Norm and I haven't been getting the best food there lately --in fact very disappointed they fact few times BUT the music is great , but that is only on the weekends.
Nope I would stick with the pier. the view is out of this world

Thanks everyone for the responses! I checked out the menus for both Grills and Atlantic Grill and they both sound delicious!! I LOVE seafood and so does hubby. I'll have to show him the menus and let him decide between the two. Thanks again!!

If you are looking for something to celebrate little nicer I would go with Atlantic Grille which is at the Pier. Grilles is at the port and it is not that special. (plastic tables/chairs etc...)

Another option, and certainly upscale (one of the few places in the area where coat and tie is common) would be The Mango Tree in Cocoa Beach. Pricey, but very nice atmosphere and menu.
