I know the Sheraton (the one on
Disneyland Driver, there are a couple but thats the one I am talking about) gets very good reviews. You might also check into the Candy Cane Inn, it gets the highest reviews around and is close to Disneyland with its own shuttle. Same with the Sheraton. I have not stayed at either just see lots of good reviews both here on the dis and on tripadvisor.
I have stayed at the Tropicana. Its right across the street from Disneyland, less than five minute walk to the turnstiles. Its an older motel (like all of them there on Harbor and the surrounding areas). But its been recently redone and we enjoyed our stay there very much.
I know that the Candy Cane uses down comforters but I am sure they could sub something else. Not sure about the Sheraton, they do use the sweet sleeper beds since they are part of Starwood Hotels.
I have also stayed at the Howard Johnsons. Its up the street a bit from the Tropicana but still very walkable (10-15 minutes depending on how fast you walk). It is less motelish but still an older property. Very large rooms, lovely grounds, two pools and Mimi's is next door which is a great place to eat. MImis is also very close to the Tropicana.
There is an Embassy Suites in Garden Grove. Its not far, you do have to take the ART (anaheim Regional Transportation) shuttle which can be a bit of a pain. Its $3 per person per leg or you can buy a weekly pass for cheaper. Like all Embassy Suites is has the free hot breakfast and happy hour. I haven't stayed there but others on the dis have and it gets good reviews. But its not as close or walkable to Disneyland.
There is a Fairfield Inn next door to the Hojo, but its not a suites. Again, it gets good reviews on the dis, is very walkable to Disneyland and has good offsite dining choices right there.
I hope this helps you a bit!
