just back from a great trip! Unfortunately the weather wasn't the greatest.....so the falls and the sky seemed to merge together! Lots of over cast skys and rain and some wicked storms...luckily the storms were brief!

Wow - beautiful photos. Thanks for sharing. I love the waterfall pics - but my favorite is Ft. Niagara - something about old buildings that just calls to me.

I like the ferris wheel. Your pictures are terrific. Thanks for posting them.

Beautiful pictures! I agree with Dan, that is my favorite too.

Very nice pics. I grew up about 4 hours from there. This is one I took last year around Thanksgiving, it was very cold :)

Think this was about an 8 sec exposure.

Very nice captures. Skilled photographer plus good camera equals great pictures!

Thanks for sharing!

Great shots! Your camera does well with low light! The colors are really good too! I haven't been there since I proposed to my wife there 14 years ago. We were on the Canada side in some big hotel just over the bridge. Can't remember the name of the hotel. I must have been too nervous! Brings back alot of memories. Thanks! :thumbsup2

Amazing pics!

Furgus, Love the shot! I so wanted to capture something like that with all the colors.....but it just didnt' happen. I have a few when we crossed the bridge back into the US. On the Candadian side it was so thick with fog/mist.

I really would like to go back and see the falls in the winter!

Thanks everyone for your kind comments.

Thanks. The Falls in the winter are a sight to see, not that they are slack any other time of year, but they are great in the winter.

I live about an hour and fifteen minutes from Niagara Falls yet haven't made it up there on a photo-taking mission yet. Last time we really visited was probably 8-9 years ago, in the early days of dating my wife.

We do go past the falls occasionally to visit other places in Canada, in fact I just turned down an invite to go up there this past Saturday, but maybe one of these days... It would be fun to go in the winter and we're close enough that we can more or less go on a moment's notice.

And man, that little strip on the Canada side is a real tourist trap, eh? Ripley's, wax museum, alien museum, etc, etc...
