I book a night here during March Break (Travelzoo $125). Has anyone stayed here?

The travelzoo package includes a $50 voucher for the Watermark restaurant. Is this restaurant ok for kids? Maybe we should eat lunch there rather than dinner?

It also includes parking and breakfast for 2 which I thought was a pretty good deal.

I had stayed in this hotel for the weekend about 3 years back with my boyfriend at the time. It connects to the casino so you do not have to go outside. I found the hotel to be nice. The watermark restaurant is not a large restaurant but there are seats that have an overlooking view of the falls. We had two breakfast vouchers. Breakfast was buffet style and filling, a nice variety. I'm not quite sure about the 50 dollar voucher. I had read reviews that it didn't get you much since the food there is really expensive. When we were dining I saw no kids in the restaurant. It was somewhat empty with a few couples.

Hope this helps.

There is also an indoor pool so bring your bathing suit.

Overall very nice hotel.

I just checked their rates calendar...

during the week of March Break the regular room rate starts at $109, and it says you can upgrade and get valet parking, breakfast and the $50 voucher for an additional $50. This lowest rate is probably for a city view room
The hotel is nice, and during March Break there will be lots and lots of kids there. The Watermark is ridiculously expensive. Check the menu (for prices) before you actually go there. I would recommend dining away from the hotel. There is a Keg at the Embassy Suites just a short walk down Fallsview Ave that overlooks the falls that is more reasonably priced (and more child friendly) and many other choices. I would suggest Carpaccio, Pizzeria Antica or even cheap and cheerful Falls Manor over the fancy schmancy overpriced Watermark.
Have fun!

I would be very careful here-we stayed on the 18th of Jan and I used my visa card for the first time in 6 months to check in - a week later my visa card had been compromised.:scared1: It had to be here, I never use it anywhere, just my debit card and they are not linked, different banks in fact. Besides this, the hotel itself was very nice, the rooms were elegant and very well appointed. The waterslide was only in opperation on the weekend but I am sure they will have it going over the March break. They have an excellent sauna ans steam room my husband adored.I think you got an amazing deal with the meals etc but just be wary of your credit cards.

We stayed there and thought the hotel and pool were nice. The restaurant.....is questionable......I got a serious case of food poisoning there and when I called them to inform them of it they just laughed it off and said prove it.

Pool is nice, slide and huge waterfall, but COLD!

We liked the restaurant.

We got a deal and ended up in the older part of the hotel....VERY SMALL, but it was a good deal.
