Niagara Falls Help Please

My DH, MIL and FIL will be there for 2 nights in June. We don't need to spend big $$ for a falls view room. But would like something clean, comfortable, with a pool and maybe a step up from Super 8, Econolodge etc. Maybe a great Bed and Breakfast.

Can anyone recommend anything in Niagara Falls or Niagara-on-the-lake?

We have read numerous websites, and have a long list of accommodation places, but I was wondering if anyone had any personal experiences.

Hi Rachael,
We stayed in the bestwestern fallsview last saturday night. The new Casino is going up right across the road. I believe it opens June 10th. We got a family room, that had 3 double beds with a kids little tyke gym in it. The room was going for $109 CA, but I asked if they would give it to me at the standard room rate of $99 and they did. It has a great view of the falls and of all the new hotels. It's an older hotel, but suits its purpose.

In October, we stayed at the Comfort Inn on Clifton Hill. (Not the Lundy's Lane one, the Clifton Hill one - close but big difference!). The hotel is nice, super easy walk to everything - in fact it's right in the middle of everything! (Falls, museums, casino, restaurants, mini golf etc). Rates were good. They have a large indoor pool area and a very nice free breakfast in the dining room. I would recommend it!

We like the Americana Resort on Lundy's Lane. They are building a huge waterpark! They have a nice pool, fitness centre, spa, game room, two playground outside, one indoor playground, basketball, volleyball and a great restaurant, Jack Tanners. I think the address is 8444 Lundy's Lane, I think the telephone # is 905-356-8444 (That's on the top of my head, I'm Rainman with numbers).

We also like the Hilton across from the new Casino. S

We have stayed at the Americana twice and like it. If you are staying for two nights you can get a package that includes food. The only drawback is that it is at the other end of Lundy's lane so it is aways from the falls. When we were there last from the signs the water area shoulkd be finished by now.
