What is the best hotel with the best view of the falls? Hot tub in the room a must.

It's been a long time since I've been there so, and there are so many choices, all claiming the best view, that I thought I would ask the experts here.

TIA!

Last year we stayed at Sheraton on the Falls. We stayed two nights in an Executive Corner Suite ($632.38 for two nights, Canadian dollars). Excellent view of the Falls, including from the bath which had, if not exactly a hot tub, a huge whirlpool tub. Look them up: they may well have other rooms with a true hot tub.

FYI, passport or passcard I believe are required to go to Canadian side now.

Have you posted this on the Canadian Board? There are a few people there that live in the area and gave me a lot of really good info when I asked about it.

yes, i do know about the passport requirement. Good thing i checked my passport, it expires in May!

but since we're going in 2 weeks, it's not a problem.

We stayed at the Sheraton Falls View, and I can't imagine any hotel has a better view. Floor to ceiling windows, and you literally look down directly on the falls. It was spectacular.

I agree, we stayed here, amazing views!!!!

I just booked a falls view room at Embassy for Easter weekend.

We love Embassy to start with, so I can't imagine it being bad, but it's still good to hear it's recommended!

My friend and I stayed at the Embassy Suites last August. We had an amazing view of the Falls from our room. Nice breakfast and evening snacks/drinks. I can highly recommend the Embassy Suites.

The fee to renew is going up $35 if you are interested in renewing.

I have read that all the stuff to 'do' is on the Canadian side. But if you just want to see the falls, is the view ok from this side?

I stayed at Marriott Fallsview, HUGE windows, even a Vent so you can HEAR the falls. Lovely trip and we really enjoyed the Maid of the Mist a MUST do/see in my book!
Ask for upper room with your specifications..... Sad to say but the NY side was derelict, dumpy and gross and dirty and ugly and ...VERY sad situation if you ask me........:sad2:

You can often find a great deal on Embassy Suites on Travelzoo. Sheraton/Marriott/Embassy all have great views - request a higher floor and you'll be fine.
