Niagara Border wait times over Labour Day weekend

Does anyone know of a site where I could find historical wait times at the Niagara borders? We're thinking of a quick trip to Rochester at the end of the month (probably leaving on the Thursday, returning Sat or Sun), but we're concerned about traffic, particularly at the border. I know that Fort Erie is usually quicker than Queenston/Lewiston, but we're wondering what to expect on a long weekend.

Thanks!

I can't speak to your crossing specifically, but generally Labour Day is a quiet weekend. I think most people stay home as school is starting. I work in the U.S. and always work Labour Day and the border is generally quiet on the way home.

We drove home last year from WDW over labour day weekend. We crossed at Fort Erie at 3pm and there was 1 car ahead of us and about 6 lanes open. I was totally shocked. I figured the line would be long because of the time and the holiday.

We used to take Queenston /Lewiston but now always take the Rainbow. We find it much quicker.

I'll echo the avoid Queenston advice! If you're concerned about timing, usually earlier is better as a general rule.
