Evening all,

I've been searching for cheap Disney hold on the net and it came up with a 50% off discount for nhs staff. It wouldn't give me any other info though. Can anyone shed any light??? X

thanks

Your NHS personnel department should have information as I think you have to book through your staff association.

Dad gets the discount - at the moment it's only up until March that the offer is good for, which is no good for us as we want to go in July or August.

We're going to hold off for the new Disney offers this month (hopefully) as it worked out the same discount to book directly with them. Though I've bugged the jeebs out of my Dad to go over for his birthday in March, I doubt he'll utilize it :headache: :lmao:

Basically you sign up through the NHS discount site, enter your details and they check it, then get back to you when you are accepted. Then you will get access to the deals. At the moment the deal was good for "upto" 50% off and we could get the hotel New York for £400 for four nights/5 days. Which I want to take up but I can't with out Dad :sad2:

Last time I checked there were no NHS deals to be had for Disney. I managed to get 50% off last year but it seems nothing has been lined up this time which is a shame as we are hoping to go back but I won't unless the prices come down as I would never pay what they want currently

Does stink a bit doesn't it! Though to be fair I think it stinks that we have to wait for an offer full stop :lmao:

Dad went through the deals link and it showed up some deals, but not sure if that was NHS related as it's not on the discount site (yet it was through another link that work gave him and still had the same rules about producing your ID card or wage slip)

Wish I knew the link but going through the normal UK site and trying to find it proved impossible. According to Dad, only he is allowed access as he's rather special.....:lmao: (He should have retired 2 years ago but is now usuing his NHS status to the full, for the FIRST time ever in 36 years!)

The only one I could find through the Winter Deals link had a P and O logo, so i presume it's to do with them?

Thanks I signed up to the website but it takes 48 hours to verify your details so won't be able to view anything they have till then. Which like you've said won't be anything!!! They do have a travel line so will ring them when they open and see what they can offer!

We're going next week with the offer- you basically had to call up Disney and ask for NHS offer. He couldn't find it initially, but it was under the label of NHS winter offer- only up until March. The person I spoke to seem to suddenly 'find' a list of deals once I'd mentioned NHS so it was definitely worth asking. Got a massive discount as it's half term too!

When I booked last year we phoned the normal number & they couldn't find anything. We phoned the dedicated number & they gave us the 50% offer.

The NHS site had this offer but have nother for Disney so they have now stopped doing any discounts for the time being

That's what my Dad was looking at - we were puzzled as it doesn't show up through the NHS site - yet there is a link where it DOES show up through Disney! We want to go after March, but did look into booking for his birdhay (and my setp-mum's birthday in March) just got to decide if the Eurostar is worth it. I'll have to give Disney a ring and see what they say :thumbsup2

And apparently, the link I thought that initially had to do with P+O, was infact the NHS deal :)

I get a whopping 5% off of a stay as I am in the armed forces! (That is 5% and not 50% if anyone was thinking that I had left the zero off by mistake!) Its still £30 saved I suppose, so that will pay for me and DW to have half a meal :thumbsup2

Just found the link through the site after some searching as they are not listed as a retailer anymore. Hoping they bring more dates to it as I want to go after April

Thank goodness LOL! I want to go after April too - looks like it's a case of sitting and waiting. (Though my Dad did the unthinkable and went to Disneyland Hong Kong with out and I wouldn't put it past him to try and book something up with out me knowing......

I wonder why they don't list it anymore? No wonder my Dad said he was "special" :lmao:

I'm going to P.M you the link as if I put it up here it'll become a free for all :lmao: You can access it with out yout NHS password etc, but when you check in you have to prove who you say you are. Basically anyone can book through the link, but they will get caught out if they are not genuine when they reach DLP!

Hi Lisa,

Can you PM me the link also, my wife works for the NHS :)

Thanks

Just sending you a PM now :) they update it with new offers so keep an eye on it regularly :thumbsup2

My dad phoned the number listed with the offer & it doesn't connect:headache: I have asked him to phone the normal number to see if they know of any new NHS deals coming up

Oh my goodness! That's not good!! Wonder what's going on there then?! I know it takes them ages to find it on their computer, but if the phone number doesn't collect that's just silly! Let us know how you get on :goodvibes

I think it doesn't work as the offer has effectively come to an end:sad2:
