I have a trip planned to WDW for the Middle of may, which is right in the middle of the playoffs, anyone know if we can catch the hockey games down in Orlando for the canadian teams that are shown on CBC here? I know I'm on vacation but would like to catch a game or two while we are there, especially if Toronto is still playing in May.

We went to ESPN club during playoffs last year. They were doing some football draft and we had to ask them to turn one T.V. on to the game.
All Disney hotels carry both ESPN channels so catching a game should'nt be hard.

I agree with hockey mom ESPN club will be your best bet but don't count on the Leafs playing still at that time they are old and are gonna be history in the first round hehehe.
GO HABS GO

Darren I'm with you. They even acquired one of my favorites- Ronnie Francis so he has a chance at a stanely cup- that was funny.

Always catch the Leafs at ESPN-it's a condition of DH's if we go April/May! Get there early though- there is usually quite a line out the door for tables during playoffs.

Ya hockey mom I agree he would have been closer to winning the cup staying with Carolina hehehe atleast they have made it to the finals in the last few years unlike the Leafs yes I know the HABS haven't been too far in the big show but atleast they still have a cup in the last what 4 decades.

Small warning for you ... although ESPN does show the NHL playoffs, the quality of the broadcast is nowhere near what you can find on CBC. Gary Thorne is the best US-based announcer, he comes nowhere near Bob Cole or Harry Neale. Barry Melrose is the main between periods analyst, and his only claim to fame is that he was once Kelly Hrudey's coach. And of course, nobody can compare to Ron McLean or Grapes.
