Okay not to down play the Dad and his son. They are truely hero's. Or that this sicko is not 100% to blame!!
But the Dad mentioned the man looked suspicious (not his exact words) to the point that he and his son were watching him. If so why did he not notify the Swan Staff. Maybe the little girl would not have had any of that happen to her.
I doubt they would have gotten much of a response from the staff. If the guy had been questioned before the incident I'm sure he would have been clever enough to come up with a grande excuse. He's been doing this for 40 years. Then he may have made an attempt when the people in the pool area were not as aware as the NH family. Applaud that NH family!!!
Plus as a mother in a pool area especially I keep my eye on my kids period. How was he able to get her away with out Mom &/or Dad noticing.
Although as a mother I ask the same question. I'm sure that little girls mom will ask that of herself for a long time.
I guess it easy for me to sit back and judge this since I myself wasn't involved.
We're human.
Like pp I have taught my dd what to do if a person approaches her. My daughter was blessed with a very healthy voice! She is to kick hit punch scratch bite yell "your not my Mommy/Daddy!" Over and over and over She even knows where to kick a man

. She knows she can not talk to strangers period. To the point that in Target or Wal-Mart people will ask me if she is rude or shy. Neither she is smart!
