NFL Season

:thumbsup2
It was rather hard writing that check for Bowlen's dementia fund, uh, I mean season tickets this year.

At least we are not playing the Redskins. Shanahan would obliterate Boy Wonder.

Then again.......

Yeah, it might have been a good wake up call to the front office if the guy we fired, who has 2 Super Bowl rings, crushed our Boy Genius head coach.

What has happened to Bowlen? For years I thought he was a great owner, but he seems to really have slipped here recently.

I lived in Denver for 10 years so I'm a Broncos fan.

But the past 6 years I've lived in Baltimore and I've also become a Ravens fan. Having a Granddad with season tickets doesn't hurt either.

Makes my tickets to the Ravens v Broncos game a bit difficult. :confused3

I live in Delaware, so I'm only about 1 1/2 hours from Baltimore. Grew up a die hard Orioles fan (ugh), went to college at University of Maryland, but was a die hard Broncos fan since I was a kid.

The Colts left Baltimore when I was in 5th grade, and it broke my Dads heart. I decided then to root for Elway, because he did to the Colts what the Colts did to Baltimore a year later.

I understand about the Ravens games. I go to Baltimore every time Denver is in town, and this year will be no exception, but the Ravens crush Denver every time they play in B-more.

Living where I do, I've got a mess of friends/family that are Ravens fans, and I hear a bunch of BS every time Baltimore beats them. Pains me terribly!

I know, I'm a strange fan in that I want my players to be good on and off the field. You know, a role model that kids can look up to. THAT is a rare bird these days.

I agree with you. My stomach may turn if I have to cheer on Roethlisberger this season.

If it can't be Da Bears then the Saints are my second choice. Drew Brees is a Boilermaker.:cool1:

Watching for all the Boiler boys is a large part of the fun for me during football season. Not to many of them are in the NBA or MLB, but there are enough of them in the NFL.

Loved watching Drew last season. Kyle started out good, but it didn't last long. As a rookie, Curtis couldn't have asked for a better starter to learn under with Peyton.

DH says I am weird, with my Big Ten thing. Whatever game we are watching, I always count how many starters are from the Big Ten. If they are two teams that I don't care who wins, which ever one has the most Big Ten alums, I cheer for them. If they are Purdue alum, they get counted as five.
