NFL Playoffs

Nice Edit! :rolleyes1

Still nasty and typical! Will stop at that because I don't want to get points for pointing fingers at a particular poster. :sad2:

typical of? steelers are hated by many......and the portrayal to the rest of the country is not favorable.....still ben needs to go.:thumbsup2

What are you even talking about? Do you have a clue? NO!

I know many people hate the Steelers. I could care less. They are my team , and believe or not there are many people country and worldwide who LOVE the Steelers! In your opinion Ben needs to go, obviously the Steeler owners and coaches don't and last I checked you weren't one of them.

I don't take kindly when a certain poster characterized a whole city, that we are jobless idiots who have nothing better to do than sit around and watch football. He edited his post to make it not as bad as bad as it was, but I read the original and so did many other posters.
The post had nothing to do with the team per se, but all us beer guzzling jobless idiots who do nothing but watch football in our depressed city.

The post was rude and classless(but thats typical as I said) and had nothing to do with what this thread is even about.

If you went back and checked the other pages you would see many people agreed with me about how rude and classless the post was, but as I said he edited it. Its still rude but not like the original.

Joe Philbin (the offensive coordinator of the Packers) is dealing with the untimely death of his 21 year old son. His body was pulled from the Fox River earlier this afternoon, after he fell through the ice. :(

What a terrible tragedy for the Philbin family and the Packers organization. :guilty:

:sad2: Very sad.

It is a horrible tragedy. I just read that.

A couple days ago the Steelers running back coach was burned over 40% of his body when his townhouse caught fire in the middle of the night. Its a newer development so I dont know about smoke alarms, but a neighbor seen the fire and pounded on the door to wake the coach up. Thank goodness. He still remains in the hospital.

OMG! Seriously! :confused3

Is this groundhog day? I'm missing none. Everytime the Steelers are mentioned you bring up Ben, we get it you hate him. You think he should be gone.

OK next chapter.

Still had nothing to do with the post that was quoted but again thats typical. :sad2:

typical of you too.

Typical of what? I didn't even say anything about Ben, not even after your 1st post about him 3 pages ago. You brought it up....again. And this time , its not what I or anyone else was even talking about. Everytime the Steelers are mentioned you go on your I hate Ben tirade.

Believe me I get it, and don't care! .....NEXT!

You brought it up in a quote from me that had nothing to do with Ben. As I said , previously, you said he was a pig 3 pages back, did I say anything,,,,, NO! I thought, she has to get her digs in , fine.

I didn't say anything until you started quoting something about me that had nothing to do with what you were even talking about. You see my posts and you automatically think I'm talking about Ben Rothliesberger. I told you I wasn't , it was about a quote from another poster, but you still kept on.

I'm done , you obviously have an agenda. whatever you say is never going to sway me, you're like a broken record who keeps cutting in to where it doesn't belong. Go preach your sermon somewhere else.

I think we did a Ben is a pig thread a couple years ago. This is supposed to be an NFL playoff thread or didn't you read the title?

It is thought to have been formed by the jetwash from the flyover, but it is fun to think there was divine intervention for the game :goodvibes (and I am not religious)

you are pretty much the most pretentious user on here. You talked about how the Raiders were a bunch of criminals before. Now I don't know much about the other user you are arguing with but judging by your reasoning, I hope you dump the Broncos/Gators the next time one of them has a felon on their team.

Back on topic. I don't like the Broncos or Steelers, but they played one hell of a game. We got 3 dud football games before that treat. Now it is time for some divisional games.

Broncos vs. Patriots: Can Tebow keep it going? Was thrashed a few weeks ago but this is the playoffs and the Patriots defense sucks.

Texans vs. Ravens: Ravens were unbeatable at home and facing a rookie QB, if any of the games has blowout written on it, I pick this one.

Saints vs. 49ers: CAN'T WAIT!!! The best offense versus the best defense. Game on.

Giants vs. Packers: The hottest team versus the best team, another great game.

:sad1: How horrible. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family and team at this time.

Now that is awesome! Thank you for sharing it.

How awful. I've read that recovering from burns is one of the most painful things to go through.

I hope he recovers quickly.

It's going to be a tough one, that's for sure. :)

I have to agree with you on these comments.
I just hope my team picks will win this weekend! My LSU Tigers lost in an UGLY game last night. :sad2: :sad1: It was just awful. We are in mourning at my house this morning. I hope the games will be better this upcoming weekend! I especially hope the Broncos will win! I like the Patriots and think Brady is a great qb. I just want the Broncos to win this one, though. :thumbsup2
