As far as my Dolphins go heading into tomorrow, it's too bad the player they could use the most-- Eric Berry-- will be gone no later than Cleveland at #6. If he's still there at #12 the skies will have parted. It might be a slight reach to grab Sergio Kindle at that spot, but not so much of one that they shouldn't do it. But if I can't have Berry on the Dolphins, Kindle is the guy I want second, Brandon Graham third.

Dan Williams would be the safe pick, but they can find a space-eater in R3 or R4 just as much. The wild card is if CJ Spiller is still there after 12. Ronnie Brown might not be a Dolphin after this year and Ricky Williams is not getting any younger. I wouldn't be stunned if they pulled the trigger.

The only way Eric Berry or CJ Spiller is still available at 12 is if they are both still available at 10 and the Jags don't trade down, because the Jags will happily take either of them at 10 if they can't move down. Spiller and Maurice Drew together on the same team? Fuhgidaboudit.

Alabama has 12 players that could be drafted, and 9 that almost certainly will. Of those, at least 2 will go in the first round. All of that and Bama is still the favorite to win the BCSC again this year.

We are #7, not 6, but if Berry is there, he's our guy. At least that's the buzz around here. There have been some rumors of us trading up to get him too.

No way. You don't give up a top 10 pick for a player who is suspended for the first 6 games next season and who might be one more drunken night away from a full year or longer suspension.

Same reason that Brandon Marshall was worth 2 second round picks but Santonio Holmes was worth only one 5th round pick - he's suspended for four games and Marshall is not.

I'm not sold on Bradford being the best QB. Clausen might be better in the NFL.

As for Tebow, he's a great kid, he's smart, he'll work harder than anyone... but you can't turn water into wine (not even Tebow, no matter how close he is to Jesus) and he just is not ready to be an NFL quarterback. He might be able to develop into a decent backup but it will take 2-3 years. You can't just change your throwing motion in so short a time that it will hold up under pressure - he's been throwing a certain way since he started playing and when the pressure is on he'll want to revert to that for quite a while no matter what other changes they try to make. It will take TIME to change that, nothing else. Until then? He can cover kicks and punts on special teams because he certainly isn't afraid of contact.

Here's hoping the Jags can trade down from #10, grab a 2nd round pick, and then if Tebow is around in Round 3 they can draft him then so all the crazy people around here will shut up. I'm so tired of Tebow, Tebow, Tebow...

I am a NY Giants fan and a Bama fan. That said, I separate the two. I want the Giants to get the best players available, not Bama players. The only match this year is McClain. Other than that, I will just watch and enjoy the draft.

No kidding. SOOOOOOOOOOO glad they cut the times down from 15 to 10 minutes and 5 in the later rounds. Those 15 minute early rounds were killer years ago.

Tebow is a risk in the first round for any team. But the Denver Broncos will be his best chance to get drafted that soon.

My college player is Kyle Wilson CB Boise State. I pray he falls to 30 so my Vikings can draft him but it's not looking so good. ESPN just said that the Browns will take him at #7

It helps that 2 out of the top 3 projected picks (and 3 of the top 5 or 6 picks) will come from my OU Sooners!

It also helps that - if all goes as planned - they will go to my 2 favorite teams...the Rams and Bucs!

Plus...it appears I will be headed to Tampa to watch those very 2 teams play in October!
