I have been desperately trying to figure out why it would be a good idea to cut hours away from the EMH for resort guests. I just couldn't wrap my mind around it. There are some beautiful off-site locations and I just couldn't figure out how taking perks away from those who stay on-site could possibly balance out.

What if the NextGeneration Fastpasses will resemble the ones at Universal and give extra benefit to those staying on-site. Like maybe they will have a shorter fastpass turn around time for resort guests or maybe a larger window return. I am really hoping this is going to be a trade-off and not a total perk loss, My very favorite moments at Disney are with my family in that last magic extended hour. The parks are so quiet and it is just so magical.

I guess I just assumed they were shortening the EMH because the parks were so quiet in the last hour. I agree with you though, I loved that last hour! It was so nice to see a quiet/empty park. EPCOT is awesome at about 11:45 pm! The only people there are the CM's and us!!
