Since I have been sick for weeks, I am way behind on my trip planning. I was off to such a good start with iteneraries, back-up plans, etc. Now, I'm feeling the crunch and still not really well enough to do much about it. Anyway, two quick weather/packing realted questions...

FYI: The weather next week says the highs will be around 79/81 and lows around 60. :sunny:

1.) Will the pools really be warm enough to swim at next week? I really, really, really hope so. But I don't like cold or cool water. I heard they heat the pools. But do they heat them enough?

2.) Do the temperatures predicated for next week really call for shorts and short sleeves for a day in the parks? I assume it starts out kind-of cold. Will we need light jackets for the early mornings and evenings? Or are long pants still in order - not shorts? I got us matching short-sleeve personalized shirts, so I hope it will be warm enough to wear them!

Thanks for your weather/packing advice. Maybe it's from being sick, but I can't seem to figure this out, and I've only got this weekend to get this done!

Being a Floridian now...my advice is pack a little of everything right now just in case;)

It's been warm the past 2 days but I'll give you an example of our weather here this past week....Thurs and Fri. last week were in the higher 80's and then we went to WDW for the wknd and it was more like 70's and windy making it feel quite chilly when we got out of the pool. The pools are heated in winter but not really when it's in the 80's . The water in the pool was warm but the air when it hit you, though it was in the 70's was quite chilly. When we got up on Sun. morning it was only about 50 or so :rolleyes2 and then it warmed up again that afternoon to the high 70's. The past 2 days since we got back home have been more like 65 at night and low 80's during the day. It has not been consistant with the temps so if you take a little of everything, you'll be fine. Hopefully, from here on in the temps will just keeep climbing but unfortuneatly, the weather and temps have been crazy lately.

Have a great trip!

I was afraid of that - needing to pack a little of everything :scared1: I am already really bad about taking too much, or so DH says. But I'm glad to know now and not after we arrive. Thanks so much!

You're welcome:)

With any luck, it will hopefully stay around 64 at night and in the 80's during the day from here on in;) Pack some warmer things just in case though. Have fun!

I am taking one pair of jean capris and a sweatshirt for nights and early mornings. Normally if we are in the park early, i would rather be a little chilled in the AM then carrying a coat or sweater in the afternoon.... so most of the time I'm in t-shirt and shorts...

however, Fantasmic nights and evenings at PI I wear the sweatshirt and capris.

my DH packs like 3 pants, and 3 long sleeved shirts, and a jacket and all this stuff he never touches!!!!

See you next week, eh?
