We leave on Sunday and have our intimiate wedding scheduled for thursday, november 11th. With all the running around going on over the last 6 months we almost forgot about getting a gift for our coordinator and officiant. I am looking for ideas from other people and what people put for limits (money wise). We are having a very small intimate wedding and quite honestly have only spoken twice to our coordinator. We would like to get them something but really have no idea what. So.... give us some ideas! Thanks so much for your help so far - everyone here has been so helpful and it is greatly appreciated.

I have heard of people getting them things from their hometown, such as t-shirts, etc. I have also heard of getting them jewelry, chocolates, flowers. Some people spend a lot of money and some spend very little.
I am like you, it is not quite as personal when you have an intimate wedding because you don't really get a chance to talk to your EM as much. I wouldn't go way overboard or anything, a small, thoughtful gift will be plenty I think. If you are giving your guests gift bags, you could give your em one of those.
I was planning on getting mine something "non-disney" I am sure they get tons of Mickey mouses, etc. I haven't decided what that is going to be yet, but I am in search of something unique.

We bought our coordinator a visa gift card, so she could use it anywhere...we thought about getting something from our town...but decided against it. We didn't end up getting our officiant anything...some people give a donation to their parish. Good luck next week!!!

My hubby and I were married 15 years ago on Nov 11 and spent a wonderful vacation in disneyworld. I'm so glad we spent our honeymoon there because now when we visit it reminds us of our honeymoon days.

Congrats!

im in the same boat as you. i still have 6 months til mine and im already wondering what to get. rev. tim has been wonderful and we'll most likely make a donation to his parish. maxine (our em) on the other hand, i just don't know. i've had my wedding booked since may 2004, and i have only received 2 emails from her, yet i'm the one who emailed her first! no phone calls, nothing!so we'll see what happens.

That's odd. I have Maxine and we keep contact on a regular basis (it may be that I am a freak about every detail too ... lol). I'm looking to get her something really nice.
We headed to WDW the weekend of Hurricane Jeanne (I know, I know) and Maxine was out of town, but we met with Rev. Tim. As a token of our appreciation to both, we made up gift baskets with local favorites ... Abita root beer, Zatarain's red beans and rice mix, spices, hot sauces ... just for meeting with us and being great helps.
