I just typed this up for a friend:
Here's our list of tricks/tips.
In the desk is a hairdryer. It only plugs into the desk outlet that is marked hairdryer.
In the desk are hang tags for breakfast room service. Am Coffee delivered is fabulous if you have a balcony.
The sit down breakfasts in the restaurants are less crazy than Cabanas.
You can order Mickey ice cream bars from room service.
The 'All hands on deck' from room service is crackers, cheese, grapes.
The gym will always have banana and oranges. Day and night.
Cove cafe charges for coffee but always has a good selection of pasteries or crackers depending on the time of day.
The gym has changing rooms for men and women with saunas inside. No charge to use them. We met a guy with three daughters who showered there every day. They also have razors and cottons balls, etc. if you forgot something.
Dry/pressing cleaning is cheap. I never iron on the boat bc pressing is very cheap.
Get a print out of your bill at least two days before the end of the trip from customer service. We had three phone calls on our bill that we didn't make @ $118/ea. that someone in customer service had to research.
You can get tickets for princess appearances from customer service.
The shows are really good. Tangled was our favorite. Show up a half hour early for that one. The shows are shown on the stateroom TV every night.
We watched Star Wars in the ship theater. Half way through, I went to the upper deck and got chicken fingers and took them in to the theater.
When you get off the ship, you will feel like you are rocking...its normal.
The cruise app has fun emoticons. The boys liked the Star Wars and Marvel Ones best.
Desserts can be wrapped up and sent to your stateroom fridge.
We did a martini tasting and the mixology class. You'd have to sign up at customer service. You get Plenty of alcohol for the charge.
We did not have many photos taken bc I had my camera with me. However, we had a few taken at Pirate night that were not in our folder. There is a way to view all the ships photos at a certain time and place if you think you are missing some.
Our pirate night had 8:05 fireworks. We were on the top deck to watch. We couldn't see the pirate show all that well but the kids were more focused on the fireworks.
Typically, we book a 'dummy cruise' on the ship to get the discount. That means we pick a random date in the future just to get the discount.
Our kids both trade pins. That's a book to describe. In short, they have Disney pins that they trade with the crew.
We went all out and dressed up for Pirate night. It was fun!
