Fortunately this one doesn't look like it's going to bother land.

As always though, stay tuned for further updates.

On the weather channel they said they anticipate level 2-3 possibly hitting the US next Tuesday. I am a complete doofus about these things (this is the first hurricaine I am actively following) but what leads you to think it may not hit land?

I am grasping for any good news right now!

not likely for land but my sons will be thrilled as it's the type of tracking that brings good surfing. Last weekend here was one for the records as far as east coast surf goes. For every kid who can't afford trips to cali or hawaii that was huge.

I believe they are thinking IF it hits land, it would be anywhere from the Carolinas up the east coast.

They are saying it shouldn't hit Florida if there is a weak enough spot in the though, that will be one of the major factors in the steering. So of course, only time will tell.
