next POTC ride closure/refurb

Does anyone have information about the dates of the next POTC ride closure/refurb?

Haven't heard anything since the October/November scare. It showed up on the refurb schedule Oct. 13th-Nov. 19th, then a few weeks later it magically disappeared. Bad timing for Halloween crowds, maybe?

Have you checked the calendar on the Disneyland website? Intially, POTC was supposed to be closed for at least two and a half weeks beginning in almost mid-October. This info was based on what was found on the DL website. Then, some folks on this board said that suddenly POTC was taken off the list of rides shown to be down for that time period. Maybe they (Disney) realized that October is turning out to be a very busy month in terms of hotel bookings and advance ticket sales, so to have, clearly, one of their top three MOST popular rides ever down during that time would be a big disappointment. I think they have to do some roof repair on the building, and they probably wanted to get it out of the way before what they thought would be the busy holiday season, and before any real rain starts, but now the Halloween season is turning out to be a biggie, too.
