Kong, Ghostbusters, Hercules, Hitchcock, Savin' Elroy, Wild West...
What's the next US attraction to be history?

Barney, Barney, Barney!!!::yes::

BTTF.

Simulators must go. They trick the brain into thinking it's going a direction it isn't. Many are sick after riding. And I love how Disney is saying MS is so realistic, that's why people are barfing. It's a 100 million spin and puke machine, that's why.

At the Studios: ET.
I think it'll go for the same reasons the USH version. This shouldn't be for awhile though.

At IOA: Tric. Encounter
Not much will be pulled out of here for awhile as it is a new park, but this should be the first to go as it endures the most down time each year and is very unpopular.

I don't think USO would have done the face lift renovations to BTTF if its head was on the block. Earthquake might be a good one to chop. I bet it's operational costs are astronomical.

I have to say "no way" to the possibility of BTTF leaving...it's a classic in the park. Sure, it needs a little bit of an update, but I don't think they'd replace this anytime soon.

If anything goes, I think it would be...Earthquake. After people see it once, most are done. Preshows are too long (they should just make a show about the special effect seperate...kind of likethe Alfred Hitchcock attraction. Those actually interested in it, like me, could check it out, and those not, don't have to waste their time.

A second vote for "Twister" here! After such a big buildup, the show itself is a real letdown.

I'd go on Earthquake more if it wasn't for the first two parts.

I'd have to say ET.

There is just nothing scarier than a Tickly Moot Moot.

Hmmm...when did the Ghostbusters get the ax? If it did, I think we'd heard a scream from FlyFly_Eclipse. It would come from Venice and you could hear it in New York! :)

GB used to be in Twister with Stay Puft. Before Flyfly's time!

Right, or in other words the one canned is the good Ghostbusters. The two eras are divided in to the "good" and "bad".

If I were to place my bets, I'd say the Triceratops Discovery Trail would be the next to go. The triceratops can be moved to the JPRA ride, part of the JPRA queue, or even part of the Discovery Center.

I hope it's another coaster. Please please please let it be a GCI wooden coaster!

I'm with you there. I've always thought IOA should complete the circle in stealing from the original DAK concepts. Dragon coaster... unicorn ride... wooden "Excavator" coaster only logically seems next, right?

I'm definitely FOR a wooden coaster, since I grew up on the Cyclone!!

I mentioned in another thread that I'd love to see Twister retired. The show is definitely a letdown like KM said. Next Earthquake and ET, though I doubt if ET will go anywhere since it's been update lately.

In IOA Tric Encounter is soooo tired. NOT crazy about the Storm Teacups, either.

I doubt it will be 'Quake. It just went through a major rehab, and re-write of the "preshow" just over a year ago. Besides, what else can you put in the San Francisco area (Hmmm, the "Dirty Harry" version of MIB?)
