Newspaper exchange? Date confirmed :o)

Hope it's a go!!!

Happy New Year from a blizzard in Cape Cod!!!!

It is listed in the index for sometime in Jan.
Maybe Barbara will tell us a more specific date soon ;)

I would love to do this one as well. I always love reading the local papers when we are on vacation!:thumbsup2

I'm interested! There's a weekly in Cape May that we subscribe to. Won't be in Cape May again until February, so may be a bit late with that one.

I think Sarah was looking at Feb/March for this exchange, so you should be right Bobbi:goodvibes

the coffee/tea exchange is taking names right now ;)

But if there is going to be a separate newspaper exchange, then that would work.

Nancy, I think Sarah was thinking mainly of Newspapers and added the tea/coffee as an extra to make it a little more interesting. But the initial idea was newspapers and I think junk mail/advertising material.:goodvibes

well, that would work then. Luv2Roam is doing the tea/coffee with newspaper as an optional addition.
Hope it works for her.

I would be willing to participate in a newspaper exchange but don't want to do the coffee/tea one.

Me too. ::yes::

I'm not really a coffee/tea drinker but I like to read newspapers or look at advertising from places other than close to home.

Nusty was right I originally wanted to exchange newspapers, junk mail and store leaflets etc As there is now a fair bit of interest :goodvibes I will run this as a separate exchange. I'm heading on out but will be back later with a date. :thumbsup2

My DH would love to get newspapers from other areas to read. He lives for this stuff!!!!

Ditto...mine does too... Actually I had an Uncle who would read the paper front to back and then back again just in case he missed something.. he never missed one word. We used to joke about it saying he was reading the newsprint off the paper:rotfl:

Not a pretty sight! Ya'll have had so much rain and snow up there.

The Stillaguamish River is right down the road from us, but we are up a hill about 500' elevation, so our house is fine.
We do get cut off the direct route to town when the flooding happens. I stay home. DH goes the long way to get to work.
The TV reports are very sad to watch right now. All of Western WA is suffering.
The amount of water is unbelievable.
The rain has let up, the temps in the mountains is dropping and they are back to snow. So that will ease up the snow run-off and avalache dangers.
Our small pond is overflowing more than I have ever seen it. We are higher up on our property than that too.
I will be taking my camera out.....hopefully tomorrow.
The river is receding, but there will still be a lot to look at.

I heard on the news that this is the worst flooding ever in western Washington. Is that true?

I am so sorry for all that are suffering. May this be over very soon.
