Hey all -

I wasn't going to do a newsletter, but now I'm finding it necessary as I don't want to be dealing with the million and one questions that I'm getting! Does anyone have any ideas of what I should put in it? And/or does anyone have a template I can bum to have a starting place?

Please?:flower3: (I know this is my second thread of the day, but the stress is catching up today!)

PM your email and I can send you mine to see if it helps.:goodvibes

My newsletters are in the other thread, but if you're interested in a basic template I have sent up in Word just send me a PM with your email :goodvibes

I didn't want to do a newsletter either, especially since I'd heard a lot of stories of guests totally ignoring the newsletters and continuing to pester the bride with questions! :rotfl:

We sent a couple of emails with all my best tips on planning a trip to Disney, but then I relented and sent a newsletter with all the transportation info and a sheet about our welcome party. The transport, especially, seemed to require more than an email. We sent transportation schedules separately, so the newsletter was just a scare tactic to keep people from missing the bus to our in-park ceremony. :cutie:

The links given to you by previous posters will give you lots of great ideas. I would just add that you could probably crib most of the basic wedding info from your wedding website and then add in any tips and tricks that you think might help your guests plan a better vacation (e.g., "Disney buses don't go directly between resorts so leave enough time to change buses at Downtown Disney or a park").

You would be surprised; I thought that too, so I included a few tricks  er I mean tips and people actually followed them. One of them being to try the beverage "Beverly" from Italy in the Coca-Cola place in Epcot. I had 5 or 6 people ask me the week of the wedding why I recommended such an awful tasting drink :rotfl: I told them it was a test to see if they were reading the newsletters or not.

hahaha LOVE IT! :thumbsup2 If you can't trick your family, who can you trick?!
